A Touch of Hostility...Week 7

I couldn't agree more with you on this. I keep saying, JG practiced played and won under the Jimmy Johnson coached teams. He knows how things should be done in the meeting rooms, on the practice field, and on game day. He probably gringes at the crap WP allows this team to do. I think JG would do a awesome job as HC. I'd rather have him over the old retreads out there...

There's a reason Garrett just sits idly on the bench looking over photos instead of actively talking to Wade on the sidelines.

Dave Campo is the coach most in Wade's ear. :banghead:

Surprisingly though, DeCamillis is always talking to Wade too. I wonder if DeCamillis is learning the D?

Deflating is a key word. I would be very tempted to deflate the season. Also known as tanking it. I hate the idea of last place in the NFC East, but right now I believe the higher draft picks and 4th place schedule could be more useful than minor moral victories with some token wins.

Quiters quit! Losers lose. And both are habit forming.

The HC sets the tempo for the entire team. JG as OC can't be judged as how he would do as the HC. Those penalties come from the HC NOT the OC and that also goes for the focus and discipline of the team. It starts with the HC and JG hasn't had HC responsibilities yet...

JG will have more strings attached to him than Phillips and Campo combined.
Why fans don't see that is so far beyond me. Any casual or non fan of the boys see it.

Garrett could be a great HC, it won't be allowed in Dallas.

I still believe the job is Jason Garrett's and I am thrilled about it. People will ask me why. I will repeat what I have said dozens of times. I have wanted him to be our Head Coach since he was our 3rd string QB. I believe he has the "it" factor of coaching. Some guys are better Coordinators than they are Head Coaches. I believe he is the opposite. Like Sean Payton, he will be a better Head Coach than Coordinator.

Still with you on this one Hos. But I want it now.

Well, maybe you're right and maybe you aren't. I just think he'll be a darn good HC period....

Forget the crow Hos, we dont need any "I told you so's" here.
We are all hurting and dont need to take it out on each other.

I just hope Jerry learns some lessons from this season, If he does it will not be a total waste.

I hope and pray your mother gets better.

Hang in there my friend, we all appreciate you on this forum.

Wade – no more camp CUPCAKES

DeCamillis - sorry he's just bad - if it were not Dez an being good bud with Wade you would be already gone

Hudson Houck - as much as I hate to say it see ya bud

Dave Campo – the whole secondary looks lost - as usual for Campo
oh an playin ten yards off a WR get real

Brett Maxie – do we even have a Saftey playing in the game

Wade Wilson - never liked the Dude think he held back Troy

bring on JG as HC
Reggie Herring as DC

Dave Campo is the coach most in Wade's ear.

yea but in every picture I see - I see DeCamillis right there also

As horrible as the Cowboys played they were not quite out of the game so I think the Giants dominance is overplayed.

"Gronka truck" I don't get.

The Cowboys need to clean house when it comes to coaches.

EVERYONE goes.

This team needs a fresh start with a new attitude.

One thing regarding Jason is that the perception will be he's another Jerry puppet. This organization needs to react and shake things up.

Jerry needs to fire the enire staff and let the next Head Coach hire his entire staff. You know, like the other 31 teams. We need a coach with a big enough personality to handle the pressure of coaching America's Team, to be able to manage the stars on this team, and most importantly, keep the Owner out of coaching decisions. No more Jerry talking about whether Felix will gets more carries. Let the coach do his job.

Garrett went from QB coach, to OC for the Cowboy with no experience necessary. Now, you think he can go from a very average OC to a HC with no experience necessary?

I think he needs to go also, because this team is already tainted and moving Garrett up a notch is just like moving him from one cube to another cube with a desk.

I like him, but at the same time...he is part of the team also, and this team stinks to high heaven.

You dont have anything to be sorry for, I just feel bad for the Cowboy fans who didnt accept what we were going to end up being under Wade after the first few weeks when it became apparent thus making this an incredibly painful season. Don't get me wrong, it sucks for all of us, but last night I was able to watch the game, turn it off and go about my business without getting upset about the loss because I've accepted the fact that we are going to be a below average team regardless of talent until we get a real coach and a real GM.

You never had a "Tonka Truck" when you were growing up?

We have a Gronka Truck with broken headlights and a broken steering wheel.

I don't understand it either.

The only thing Garrett supporters have going for them are nostalgia and wishful thinking.

There's no tangible evidence suggesting Garrett would somehow do a better job with more responsibility.

Making him head coach would simply be asking for more of the same.

I can't believe that fans would want that.

Hos,

First and foremost, good luck to you and your family.

Second, your touch of hostility threads is one of the reasons I keep coming back to this site. Yes, I like to come here and vent, celebrate, debate, etc. But the one thing that I can count on is that the "Touch of Hostility" thread is going to nail it. Every freaking time you seem to nail it. You seem to be exactly where my head (and heart) is/are at and you post it with tact that I lack. Or atleast fail to exhibit when I'm so emotionally tied up in this team's successes and failures. Thanks again, sir. I don't feel a whole lot better, but at least I know I'm not alone.
