One of the more fascinating names that is participating this year in the Dallas Cowboys’ training camp is running back Lache Seastrunk, formally from Baylor. Seastrunk is an all-world athlete who was a star in college, but has already been cut by three NFL teams since being drafted in 2014. So why bother writing an article about a player who is a journeymen and currently the fifth running back on the team’s roster? Because this is a player who has the skills to be a difference-maker in the NFL and may actually have the most talent on the roster at the running back position (and no, I’m not exaggerating).

They brought him in so they are interested, but no telling who they keep.
also dunbar and dmc have injuries, so that could open a door for one of the other RB's

Lol. I left myself wide open for that one.

But actually I think they would sign someone off the street before this guy makes the team.

Your probobly right. However just being in camp has value to him because he knows the system and could get a call if someone gets hurt during the season

He did look fast in practice but I need to see him in real time during preseason games

More curious to know why this guy has been cut 3 times by NFL teams? He wasn't even stashed on the practice squad, but outright cut. He has some talent so there must be something more going on here.

The film on Seastrunk showed he has vision and moves, besides beep- beep speed. With the RB's the Cowboys have now Seastrunk has a shot of making the Cowboy roster.

In both the past and present, Seastrunk has had problems in the area of pass protection. Unfortunately for him, the Cowboys place a high premium on that particular skill, even though he excels in his running ability. As has been noted in the past, that deficiency alone makes him a longshot to survive the final cuts.

It's supposed to be a combination of pass protection liability and a bit of attitude, I believe.
