**Aaron Hernandez charged with murder/released by Pats** - Update post #247

I can't remember any Pats team as depleted as they are now from an offensive weapon standpoint.
Then you apparently don't remember anything before the 2007 season. Speaking purely from an offensive standpoint, his weapons were every bit as poor then as what he has now, especially as you progress further back. Now their defense was better back then, but you were talking from an offensive weapon standpoint.

They had the clock killer!

I knew someone would bring him up and, if anything, you've just supported my point. They had a beat up, old RB at the very end of his career who performed very well in 2004, then had 2 sub-par 800 yard seasons prior to retirement. The fact that you mention an 800 yard rusher as the QB's top offensive weapon proves my point.

Patriots games will have an extra level of intrigue this year, especially if fans show up wearing Aaron Hernandez jerseys. Or if any of them actually resemble Aaron Hernandez.

According to the Hartford Courant, a brawl erupted at a diner this morning after a patron shouted out, “Hey, Aaron Hernandez!

Looks like one of the three involved, Carlos Ortiz, is already starting to roll on Hernandez. He stated he was in the car when Hernandez and a dude named Ernest Wallace and the deceased got out of the vehicle to pee and he heard gunshots. Said Hernandez verbally stated responsibility. Wallace is gonna roll too. Book it.

Police also found a vehicle rented in Hernandez' name used in a 2012 double homicide in Boston. Hernandez is also being sued by a dude he shot in the face and thought he had died. All of these incidents were started at strip clubs. Weird, Huh?
