While that is all true, Dallas is not good enough to just run the table...................we are going to need some help.

Just being realistic about the situation.
No we don't need help, we are first in the division. Make the playoffs anything can happen.

Vikings, Bucs and Giants need help. Being first in the division with all the tiebreakers is not what I say is help needed.

No we might not run the table, we might not lose again either we don't know that's why we play. We control our destiny, even if you don't admit it

That injury could hurt Dallas. Philly gets to play the Packers without Rodgers next week probably, but he could return to play Dallas.

We have a 1 game lead with 8 to play and that includes non division games against the Saints, Packers, and Bears.

I will take all the help I can get.

Never said I wouldn't take help just stated a fact that Dallas controls their own destiny and no matter how you spin it that's a fact.

I enjoy seeing every team that isn't the Cowboys lose, so yes help would be welcomed but not needed

no but i tend to turn to the supernatural when i'm out of options or answers. i'm telling you guys this is going to be a 2 week injury....out for the Eagles and Giants games that's it.

I can respect your honesty on that.

I was curious if you were just saying that, or if that was a true feeling.

I don't believe in them, but my older brother was actually Voodoo cursed by a real Priestess 20-something years ago and to this day- he believes.

They control their own destiny if they dont lose any games.......................If we lose to the Saints, the Eagles then control their own destiny because if they win out (including a week 17 win over us) they will be the division champs.

Now if they lose another game, then destiny of the division will swing back to us until we lose again.................so on and so forth.

That is why you need help to win a division title, it lowers the number of wins you need to clinch............................a lot easier to win the division at 10-6 compared to 12-4.

That is my point.

Detroit is in good shape in the division. By the time Rodgers is back they may be a couple games back of the Lions. Green Bay has to play @ Lions on Thanksgiving. They better hope #12 is ready by then. I have my doubts.

You're most likely right- and the teams behind us need even more help.

he will probably be back just in time to play against us.

But how effective will he be? Having an injury that can easily be re-aggravated by a decent hit will be in the back of his mind on every throw. That will play a roll in his performance. Missing Rodgers isn't the only concern for Green Bay. Their pass defense was exposed by a career journeyman. I'd expect you guys to torch that secondary.

4-6 week injury then?

On average, bone takes about 8 weeks to heal, and that's not considering trying to take NFL type contact. Usually that's a season ender, even if it's not his throwing arm.

They knock out Aaron Rodgers and now the Eagles get to face a Packers team with Seneca Wallace and will probably be tied with us next Sunday Night at 5-5. Damm I felt that we would remain a game ahead of the eagles but as usual they get all the breaks and now we must beat the saints to stay ahead of them which we all know is not going to happen.

I don't even want to watch anymore of this game after what happened to Aaron Rodgers

Yes. Word is Jerry issued papers to nfl we will forfeit Sunday s Saints game.

If he broke his collarbone, he's done for the year, not even a question.

No Rodgers for the giants game means the giant will get to 4-6 and get right back into this,

All four teams will be in the mix and I bet the east will be the most exciting part of the second half of the season.

They knew 10 minutes after his shoulder pads were off. They just don't want to say anything until they meet to agree on a solution for dealing with the situation. If they want Flynn, they don't want another NFC team claiming him to keep him from them. If they want to sign a free agent, they don't want to give him leverage for a bigger deal. I go back to my earlier point, if it was minor and only a 1-2 week injury, they probably would have announced that to assure the fans and keep a media frenzy away.

I don't see how a fractured collar bone could possibly be only 3 weeks. Especially to be able to take a hit.
