Mo, Carr, Brown, and Oscan will have their hands full this game if Rodgers plays like he did last weekend. If we limit our turnovers and penalties our last possession will feature the Landry shift.
Playing us straight up for 4 quarters is a daunting task few teams are equipped to undertake. Zeke, Dak, Dez, and Sean Lee are our answer to Rodgers. Nightmare game for their defensive coordinator either stacking the box to stop Zeke, or doubling Dez to stop the circus. Having a spy on Dak to prevents any runs. No one wants this task and it is the reason we are the top seed in the NFC, four point favorites at home indoors, playing any of the other teams in the NFC the packers would be favored. We earned this game along with the respite in week 17 against the eagles.

All i did see was a Rodgers who picked the NFLs #1 Defense apart with ease even without his so called No 1 WR.

I get all the "rah rah we are the better team" motivation stuff. But GB worries me. And what i hate the most is: I dont wanna look back after 15 years and talk to people and have to say "do you remember the years between 2014 and 2020 ? The great rivalry between DC and GB. where GB kicked us out of the playoffs again and again. Like we did with them and the 49ers in the 90s."

To be remembered as a great team with great players you have to win those games!

We already lost the first matchup. And all i heard was crying about one play.

Losers always whine and say they could have done better. Winners go home and **** the prom queen.

We HAVE to win this one. ********. This game is so important!

NY also lost Cromartie in the 1st quarter. Once GB figured this out, and made adjustments, they started their aerial attack. AR running outside the pocket is very dangerous. The roll outs and got the DL and LB's running, alot, wore them down. Then they got the DB's worn down by the constant passing attack downfield.
NY D was worn down.
The hail Mary was just another one of those lucky plays, as they are all. But the suck on AR as if he is a god about them. He does do it more than most, but they are luckier than most, other than Eli at times.

Anyway, our D,if they can keep AR contained, as they did before, and we control the clock, then he can't wear down our D.
I don't think anyone cares about the next 4 years right now. Heck as far as we know, AR only has a few years left to play. I amnot concerned with that at all.

Heck, there are several teams that will be down for quite a while if they don't find their next QB....GB, NYG, Pittsburgh, even NE. We are not in that group and could be one of the powerhouse teams for 10 years.
Even the 90's Dallas teams had to lose in 91 in the playoffs before winning it all in 92. Well, maybe 2014 was like 91, 2015 was a fluke from no QB, no WR, figuring out the RB going from one to anther. So this can be our 1992 type year.

And NY would have been up big if their recievers didn't drop the ball in the 1st half. With our running game, and with Dez back (who didn't play 1st game), we are more explosive vs their d than their offense without Jordy vs our d (and no run game).

Yes.

Let AR get some of his.
Control the clock with nice methodical drives by Dak and Zeke.

A lot of people seem to be ignoring the fact that DRC got injured. He is the magic ingredient in that defense and has been for the last 3 years. Once he leaves the game, Collins goes back to being a liability in coverage and they have to help the corner on that side. Cobb just ran away from the backup corner. The other thing going on is having a healthy Cook. Rodgers has been going to him a lot the last 3 games and we know the Giants are soft against tight ends. Add that the Giants could not catch the ball and extend drives, the D got gassed and pretty much gave up hope by the fourth quarter.

For as much as the Giants defense is heralded, they were 23rd in the league in passing yards against in 2016.

That said, Rodgers is playing really good football and we should expect him to get his.

I get what youre saying here. But to lump this team in with the 2014 team just isn't fair. It's a completely different team. I think when we look back on it we should be looking back on it starting in 2016/17. But still I agree with what you're saying. If you want to be the best you gotta beat the best. This is a major hurdle for DAK and one that could define his career. Will DAK be the next Romo a guy who is a great QB but can't win the big game or is DAK the next Big Ben and is money in the clutch. It's an exciting time to be a Cowboys fan.

So in other words, not as prolific, but still really really good.

Here's the big difference.

The Giants offense is horrible - repeat horrible.

They will get probably three less possessions this week and will have to continue to score because we aren't walking out of this game with 13 points.

I'm not saying we will absolutely win - I'm saying they will absolutely have their hands full.
