True, Rodgers to Jefferson would have looked pretty nice. Especially with Devonte Adams on the other side.

I'd do backflips if they took someone like Nix to sit behind Dak for a year then let him walk, but it is not going to happen.

They'll go OT/RB/LB in the first and call it a day.

and id be perfectly ok with that. But if they draft a QB id prefer Pennix over Bo Nix

The Packers drafted a quarterback (Jordan Love) in 2020 in the 1st round pick 26.....

Well, things were not good with Rodgers at the time. He was sending all kinds of mixed signals and didn’t like the owner and GM. That’s what I remember anyway.

I guess my question is, who is that player in this years draft that falls to pick 24? Maybe a good strategy but still need the player available….

I am not a huge college football fan but the stuff I read about he 1st round QBs seem very mixed. No one stands out that I would spend a 1st round pick on.

Well Aaron was in his late 30s but it was stupid to take Love with Aaron still in his prime.

They took Love and sat him for years now it’s time to give him a new contract. They missed out on the luxury of having a cheap quarterback….just stupid.

McCarthy and Nix stink too. Caleb, Daniel’s, Maye and Penix in I can see having the potential to be players. McCarthy is the next Mac Jones.

What do y’all see in Nix that you don’t in Lance?

More years as a starter. Marked improvement in his final season. Good improvisor. Good at navigating the pocket.

But most importantly, when Oregon cut the gimmicky college crap they run, and Nix had to make some serious big boy throws, I have seen him make some big time, NFL caliber throws. Throwing guys open. Throwing with timing. Throwing with anticipation.

I’ll make some gifs of what I’m talking about eventually, whenever I have more time. But I have seen Nix complete passes that not every college QB prospect has the arm talent or brain to make.

Not to say the draft isn’t a crapshoot. He might be awful in the NFL.
