Dak has been coddled since day 1. Wouldn't even let Romo complete for the job back. There was no downside to a QB competition but they didnt want to offend poor widdle dakkypoo.
And then when Cooper Rush was winning games (proving even a backup scrub can win and the roof won't cave in without 4) mgmt had to publicly criticize Rush while he was still playing just so everyone knew little dakky was their guy.

Blame that on coaches and administration. Dak doesn't have that type of power.

I guess my question is, who is that player in this years draft that falls to pick 24? Maybe a good strategy but still need the player available….

I am not a huge college football fan but the stuff I read about he 1st round QBs seem very mixed. No one stands out that I would spend a 1st round pick on.

They drafted Love bc they weren’t expecting Rodgers to go out and win 2 more mvps. They thought he was near the end. They wasted Loves entire rookie contract and now have to pay him. They should have given Rodgers Justin Jefferson. If they had, Rodgers may have more than one ring.

Rodgers was aging which is why they used a first round pick on a QB. The plan was to develop Love to take over for him. They did the same thing when Favre was aging and they drafted Rodgers in the first round. We used a fourth round pick on Trey Lance. That eliminates any chance of drafting a QB. You sound like a typical fan.

Well Aaron was in his late 30s but it was stupid to take Love with Aaron still in his prime.

They took Love and sat him for years now it’s time to give him a new contract. They missed out on the luxury of having a cheap quarterback….just stupid.

So stupid that he just rolled Dak 48-32.
