How much latitude do you give him?

To me, he is a RoseAnne Rosanadanna player.

It's always something.

He hasn't been here long enough for it to "always be something". He had the hip thing last year (I understand he could have played about half way through the year but management basically "red-shirted" him") and the current report that he was limping. We don't know whether the limp was something to worry about or really nothing. I wouldn't lump him in the "it's always something" category just yet. Now he may get there, but he's not there yet, IMO.

Don't want to sound negative, but I have my doubts about him. Think he's going to be a career backup at best

If he's lucky. He can't even get on the field. I hate to lump him into the "I got my money, I'm set" category, but that's how I view him.

Yes, I know that's reaching. But it's the offseason. Let me have my fun!!

That's why I always try to read the whole thread before responding to the OP.

This is what the Cowboys do. After the first round they over value and draft players with injury history, mental issues, or behavioral problems looking to hit a home run. The problem is that most of the time they flop. This is EXACTLY why the Cowboys remain a middle of the road NFL franchise.

Hey, CowboyGil...out of curiosity, how old is that sticker in your Sig? I swear I remember something about exactly like that that the local gas stations were giving away back when the Cowboys first started up.

Cramp or no cramp, Cyaz has an injury history that stated back in college. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he has an injured plagued career . If he stays healthy, it will be a pleasant surprise., From the pictures I have seen, it looks like he has done a lot of work to trim the fat and build his muscle. I didn't like the puck due to the injury history, so my expectations are not very high at all.

I love it when we keep drafting injured (injury-prone) players high in the draft. It really works out well for us.

What you don't like the idea of drafting a LB early in the 2nd who may or not play this year if ever? But we have so much talent on D.. We can afford to throw away a pick..
