That was the worse job receiving an onside kick I've ever seen. I can't even grasp how the ball came down without a single Cowboy there to catch it. Sean Lee miraculously slipped in there and pounced on the ball surrounded by 4 Giants. That was messed up.

I was gripping. It was a great kick, though. Nice bounce on it, and it gave the Giants a real chance.

Come on it's an onside kick, that's just the nature of them. The ball is kicked and everybody frantically hits somebody and or chases the ball. Not much gameplanning to be done there

Witten was in good position, but onside kicks are tricky. Anything can happen.

It looked like a Cowboys player ran into Witten as he was about to catch it.

Who was it that ran into Witten as he was attempting to come down with it? Epic fail.

Honestly, I thought Carr should have stopped at the 1 rather then scoring. If we burn the Giants two time outs, and another minute ten or so off the clock, and score a field goal the D wouldn't have been exposed to the last drive and the onside kick probably wouldn't have happened.

Can't blame a guy for scoring though

That's not a situation where you don't score. If Carr doesn't score the TD it's 29-24, then if they fail to punch it in you have to kick a field goal and you're only up 8. Then the Giants have a chance to tie with one possession. He absolutely should've scored there, 100%.

I thought it was OScan who ran into Witten.

It was 30 - 24 though, would have had a 9pt buffer.

Whoever ran into Witten (OScan?) make that play a lot more exciting than it should have been. We've benefitted from funny bounces from onside kicks so we all know what kind of crazy stuff can happen.
