I'm having a bit of a spiritual moment here. Sometimes it's easy to forget just how good these guys are. People say they're simplistic but I haven't heard any other band replicate that AC/DC "crunch". Classic band!

I'm a big fan as well... especially during the Bon Scott days... but they are still just as good...

AC/DC....not the best band ever, but easily made the most songs that I enjoy listening to. Back in Black, Hell's Bells, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, You Shook Me All Night Long, Highway to Hell, the list just goes on and on.

How about this for an AC/DC question: What is their most underrated song? For me it's Down Payment Blues, taken from their most underrated album, Powerage (apparently Keith Richards is a huge fan of this album.)

Touch Too Much... from Highway to Hell...

Here's another one: Love at First Feel from Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.

Canadian posters on this site might recall the "SARStock" concert in Toronto a few years ago. The Stones were the headliners, but AC/DC absolutely blew them (and everybody else) off the stage. Angus was possessed!

I worked one of their shows one time... they are absolute wild men on and off stage... but a GREAT show...

Their version of Baby Please Don't Go from Jailbreak '74. Awesome version with a great guitar solo (mind you, just about every AC/DC song has a great guitar solo!)

LOVE your sig Yeagermeister!

PLEASE don't encourage him...I don't like TO... and I don't want him here, but the fact that Yeag is against it makes me want to rethink my position...

Have a drink on me...it just has a great guitar riff and is fun to play.

I really love the older stuff.

What's Next to the Moon, Soul Stripper - really the whole Jailbreak album and the whole Highway album, If You Want Blood... Great songs.

I've seen them several times and it always amazed me that Angus could be as spastic as he was on stage and play as well as he did. Really love Angus.

:laugh2:

AC/DC - definitely classic, classic stuff, and one of my all-time favorite bands.

I've heard they're working on a new album. Supposedly they have an overabundance of new songs to choose from, so there's a chance they could put out a double CD or something soon. And hopefully a summer or early fall tour to follow later this year.
