So we need (I'm assuming Carolina or New Orleans takes one of the wild cards, they're both 9-4 and one will win division)

Cowboys win out
Atlanta to lose twice (at Tampa Bay, at New Orleans, vs Carolina)
Green Bay lose once (at Carolina, vs Minnesota, at Detroit)
Detroit lose once (vs Chicago at Cinncinati, vs Green Bay)

All of these would have to happen or we're eliminated, although Carolina can lose twice and we can get in through other scenarios. That Atlanta win vs New Orleans hurt us a lot.

Carolina is 9-4 so you'd have to hope they lose twice and we win out just to have the same record.

I see what you're saying now. So we're dependant on one of two different teams to lose two games out of three and Green Bay and Detroit losing once, and us win out. That's the easiest way to sum it up.

So if this team wins and that other team loses, but wins next week, and those other two teams lose, and there's a tie in a week 17 game...




...all that matters right now is beating Oakland.
