Adalius Thomas released

Does he still have any gas left in his tank? He could play all 4 LB positions and is available, just cut by the Pats.

When allowed to play downhill, he was a demon w/the Ravens, but not a good fit w/the disciplined system of the Pats.

No thanks. We have too many LBs the way it is. Will stall the development of our young guys.

He had a decent season or two as a Raven, but sucked the rest of his career. Luckily for him that season or two got him a nice paycheck in free agency.

I remember how badly I wanted us to sign him when he hit the market.

I wonder if he would have worked out here. Now, no way.

Yeah. He did it all. Except produce.

Other than that...

Yeah.

I guess this would be the "Jack of all trades, master of none" at work here.

Dude, he's a do-nothing. Belichick figured out he was a bust not too long after they signed him.

We have no role for him here.

I thought he played pretty dang good his first year as a Pat. I saw him dominate a game or two. But not much more after that first year IIRC.

I'll be surprised if he's not picked up by New York to play for Ryan again.

I say why not? Can never have enough pass rushers and to have someone give Ware or Spencer a couple breaks. Im not ripping on Butler but we dont have much decent depth at OLB. Hes 32 and he might be just playing to win and not for $$, if thats the case why not?

There's a reason he's been released. He doesn't have it anymore.

Yea, he was just awful last year in New England. After he got that huge free agent contract, it was like the fire just wasnt there anymore. Kinda reminds me of Roy Williams (the safety). He was a freaking monster his first couple of years in the NFL and after he got his second contract, its like he just didnt want to play anymore.

I will be shocked if Rex Ryan doesnt have this guy in a Jet uniform by tommorow. Since he was released, the restrictions do not apply.
