I release all of them except Henry whom I convert to FS. That saves around $10M this year alone from what I can tell. I would attempt to resign Williams for a much lower amount. If he exits for another team, then so be it. While Ellis has something to offer the pass rush, I think cleaning the team of negative people is the direction this team needs to go. Cut him and make sure the team knows why he is gone.

Other than not accounting for the Rule of 51, they are correct. So subtract $310,000 each from the savings he listed to get the actual savings (at the moment) for releasing Ellis, Henry and Johnson.

Releasing Roy WOULD NOT save $4.4 million. It would save less than $2 million.

I wouldn't be opposed, giving the savings, if we cut each one of those guys but I'll be honest and say if we kept Williams and Ellis I wouldn't complain either cause I'm a fan of both guys.
