Not trying to be difficult but what other information is there? What would be an example of something that he could know that would not be searchable? The internet has basically everything imaginable.
really the only thing not on the internet is the precise details of contracts; other than that you only might not find out the exact philosophy (if they have one) on how a team handles the cap

He was a great poster, but he defended Roy Williams the safety to the T, even when everyone saw his skills were eroding.
Still, I wish he still posted here.

Do you remember what was searchable years ago when he was posting here? If all the information he was providing was searchable then he should have included links where he was obtaining the information that way it could be verified, instead of making it appear he had inside information. If would have probably kept him from being attacked by some fans. He had some believing he worked for the Cowboys or was an NFL insider. Someone posted yesterday he was the Cowboys cap guy Adam that Stephen referred to during his radio interview a couple of days ago. That’s being disputed here.

I doubt that is true; but certainly stranger things have happened

I miss Adam as well.
IIRC he said he was not working for the team or some insider. Pretty sure he said he found all of the info on line and was good at accounting so he could figure it out.

He was usually pretty spot on when it came to the cap.

I did not always agree with him on other topics but when it came to the cap I would take his word over anyone on the forum.

Sometimes it is nice to reminisce about posters that are no longer around, or are around but with different names. Some we have lost as they have passed on. Some good posters have left and some bad ones have left. But even with some of the bad ones I have some funny memories of a few of them.

As far as the cap goes.
I thought it was pretty much common knowledge they did not do FA stuff because they wanted to get CeeDee and Dak signed. They also had money available but were saving it to roll into next year to use to help sign Micah.

You sound like you're a bit jealous is all.
You could never stand in the same cage with Adam and you know that.
I was even here before you.
AdamJT read the opportunities to foundation money management and shared the insight. lol, not self gratifying gossip.

Yeah I assume that was the reason.

It’s a helluva lot more toxic these days.

Don’t worry though, Jerry says better says are ahead.

Ive been reading and posting on this board off and on ever since we all quit posting on the DMN boards. This place was still toxic back in the good ol days, it was just a different kind of toxic. Im not sure it's really any better now.

Honestly I do not remember. It is possible that website like Over The Cap did not exist then and he somehow had access to the goods. If that is the case then hats off to him and question answered. It just seems like this stuff has been around for a long time now.

I am sorry but the idea that bad contracts have nothing to do with the bad year that we are having is absolute nonsense.

This Place was WAY BETTER 10-15 years ago
People with football knowledge who wanted the team to win
Now a bunch of people with agendas with illogical thoughts
Right,
It’s now largely overrun with wanna be trolls lacking the intellectual capacity to be clever and are just obnoxious!

I still log into Hostiles site.
It's a cool forum as well with a lot of old time posters from a long time back... lol makes me feel so old.
I’m sure he frowns on any negativity. Never saw one objective post from him here where he was being critical of the team. He was the ultimate homer. He stopped posting here years ago and still has the most messages.

He must have had a TON of time on his hands and never left this board to post that many messages here. He left years ago and is pushing 120,000 posts and is still leading the pack by over 8,000 posts. :omg:
