It led to him being attacked and he finally left. It’s one thing giving opinions but when a fan goes way beyond that as if they work for the team they’re going to suffer some ridicule. There were rumors floating on the board that he worked for the Cowboys and for other teams. There was a claim he worked for a publication. None of it was ever verified.

If you’re referring to the poster that outed himself as a banned poster who’s back under another account. He didn’t see him there because I never posted on the ranch. He claimed AdamJT13 got the better of me here arguing the cap and I never argued about the cap with him.

If you knew me you would know I wouldn’t be jealous of anyone here. lol I just come here to support the team and talk football. I give opinions and that’s it. This was one of the reasons I never took him seriously. I mostly skimmed his posts and never had a discussion with him.

Yeah that's how I recalled him too. Miss his cap updates, didn't think much of his football acumen.

I followed him because he could definitely answer cap questions. To take your ball and leave because of some razzing on an internet forum is lame though. How can you handle real life if you can't handle some fools barking at you on the internet? Oh well.

That was always the plan the Jones clan came up with.

This is a salary cap reset year, roll over as much as possible, pay Parsons next year and create room to get some FA's in here.

They haven't done it since 2012 with Carr, what makes you think they'll do it now? The Joneses aren't that sharp to plan as you suggested.

I check over here from time to time but I was on here faithfully about 5 years ago until it just became too polarizing with less and less meaningful info being exposed. I now get my Cowboys info from content creators with the discussions are more civil with film study and draft talk.

You don’t need to be a cap expert to know the Jones’ are bad at managing the cap.

It’s either they are bad at it, or they just don’t care enough to try and win. Hard to come up with any other solution for the ineptitude

Remember when he believed running the ball didn't matter since passing efficacy more strongly correlated with winning? He was very rigid; guess that's good when it comes to the cap.

He went beyond what can be found online. If everything he was posting could be found online he wouldn’t have had the following he did. Anyone can come here and post info that can be Googled. That doesn’t make them an authority. If he was more than just a typical fan that was never substantiated on the board at the time.

Not trying to be difficult but what other information is there? What would be an example of something that he could know that would not be searchable? The internet has basically everything imaginable.
