I've watched Wade and he doesn't do a thing when a player screws up but frown. He's terrible.

Compare him to Chad Hutchinson, QC, Ryan Leaf, Clint, Tony Banks, AWright, Drew Henson, Vinny and be thankful we dont have any of those guys playing LT...

works like a charm for Romo apologist!

well, he is deaf in one ear, probably has a little bit to do with the false starts...

he is actually doing better this year, at least with false starts.

Flo's always false started, even under Parcells. Its just who he is.

But he's still worth it. He's a darn good LT, even if no one wants to see it.

Yet we had 4 in game one and 4 in game 2 for 8 which is extremely better than what it has been

If Flo dominates like he did the last 2 weeks, he can trip and personal foul once in a blue moon. Those aren't his regular issues. On the Personal Foul he was hustling and trying to contribute down the field and play a physical game, hand just got up and smacked a helmet, he didn't cock an elbow and punch anyone way out of the play or anything. The trip was a foot in the air, in desperation to keep his QB from getting killed and it worked. Tuck hurt himself selling it when falling to the ground, it wasn't the trip or kick that hurt him directly.

Flo has looked great these first 2 games, as has whole line. That is why we have put up 30 points each game so far. Lone consistent point so far this year (other than Special Teams I guess).

The false starts are an issue, but he hasn't been jumping so far. Majority of his penalties have been false starts.

This guy consistently plays agains tthe Demarcus Ware of other teams, and we RARELY really need to help him. Last year was a joke. Flo played without 1 arm for 2-3 games and we had NOBODY that could spell him for a game or two.

Flo is one of the top 5 guys on team we CAN NOT afford to lose. Even with drafting a TOP LT in draft next year, we need Flo for another year or two even.

Flo looks fit and focussed this year.

the penalty thing is only so over blown because he plays for us.

It shouldn't. Outside of the occasional penalty, Adams has played well. And I will never get on a player for committing a penalty for protecting the QB.

I really would like to see what the penalty rate is for all LTs in the league, just for prospective.

He hasn't had a single false start in 2009, has he?

Come to think of it, I don't think anyone on the team has one. I could be wrong, though.

Dallas was one of the leading teams in penalties and that has to come to an end. For the last few years we have been around double digits per game in penalties. The team has focused on this during the off-season and frankly if we only had 4 a game that is defense, offense and special team I would be damn happy about that. 4 a game is not bad for any team out there.

No he hasn't had one, again I think this is something people harp on and with good reason but to continue to harp on it when the team and Flo have cut down on penalties and not even acknowledge it seems to be empty arguments.

You can't do anything about it anyway. He isn't a young player that is going to magically change at this point in his career. It is what it is and like you said it is somewhat overblown.

He has a large number of penalties, but what does that truly mean. I have heard some call him a drive killer. I would be interested in seeing just how many of his penalties actually killed a drive. Did the drive truly end because they could not overcome his penalty? It would take more work than I am willing to do to track every penalty.

He averages 1 penalty every other game for his career. He averages 1 false start every 3rd game for his career. When put like that it really is not that much. Even over the last two seasons he is just under 1 penalty per game for just over 5 yards per game. If the offense can't overcome that then they have a lot bigger issues.

You would love for Flozell not to have penalties, but it just isn't going to happen. I am glad he is healthy. When he wasn't healthy last year he was not very effective, which led to even more penalties.

In 2005 when he missed much of the season due to his leg injury you could see just how valuable he was to the team because his back ups were terrible. Dallas needs to find a good back up and future left tackle or hope that Free and McQuistan really are the answer. Flozell is not the best, but I would put him in the top 10 left tackles in the NFL right now.

false starts??? has nothing to do with protecting the quarterback ok...and sometimes flozell commits dumb penalties like this past Sunday that wouldn't of changed the outcome of the play....so no...
