wouldn't mind Colt McCoy getting some tutelage from Wilson, Romo, and Orton

If you're going to get a third QB, don't jack around with it. Go get the future for this team in the 1st or 2nd round, or wait until next year to do it. But as long as you have Tony here, no need and trying to look for bargain basement QBs, we already have Orton.

Exactly.

I've been reading about several quarterbacks looking for work (or soon to be) and was wondering to myself if it would make sense for the Cowboys to get into the market.

Considering that the Stephen McGee experiment obviously did not work out, should the Cowboys look into obtaining another young option as a third quarterback?

Vince Young is working out and trying to resurrect his NFL career while the Jets look to be cutting Tim Tebow in the not-too-distant future.

Do you guys feel either would make a nice addition as a #3 quarterback?

Absolutely not. The third QB spot should be reserved for players like McGee, who need developmental time to hopefully one day take over as the starter OR be worth trading for a high pick.

It doesn't always turn out, and most of the time it doesn't, but if you keep trying then maybe you'll eventually hit on the Tony Romos or Tom Bradys, etc.

Vince Young. Tebow.

Nice.

Thanks for giving me a grin.

Syracuse's Ryan Nassib, USC's Matt Barkley and that Klein feller from K-State. Those are the guys we should be hoping for, not retreads like young or strange experiments like Tebow.

Klein is expected to fall into the 3rd round or possibly be undrafted. Grab him. He can play Tight end and be an emergency QB. He's got all the physical necessities to play.

'05 24th pick Rodgers sat for his first three years behind Favre. In his rookie year, Tom Brady was 4th on the depth chart behind Bledsoe and two scrubs. But carry on.
