I still see some rookie mistakes by Brown that Claiborne wasn't making when he was healthy. If he returns healthy, I'd rather see Claiborne starting than Brown. But that's a big if. I've been very happy with what Brown has given us as a rookie, so we don't have to make a change for change's sake. The depth that we'll have if Claiborne is healthy and returns to the form he was showing earlier this season gives us the change to mix and match coverage to play to each corner's strengths.

They won't have to make that decision. Scanny and Mo can't stay healthy more than 2 or 3 games. They'll bring both along slowly so Brown will be playing more, than not.....

I'd rather have Anthony Brown than Jags Jalen Ramsey.

Almost everybody expected Elliott to be the best RB in the draft. I never imagined we would also get one of the best DL (Maliek Collins), the best QB in the draft (Dak), and the best CB in the draft (Brown). 4 home runs, two of which are grand slams. And we still have Jaylon Smith who might be the best LB in the draft. And throw in Rico Gathers who I think is going to be very good next year. Dang! It doesn't get any better than that. Once in a blue moon draft.

So I ask you.. When Mo is ready to return, where do you place him? I am finding it incredibly difficult to say you take Anthony Brown off of the field. Seriously... This guy is a rookie balling out like this. In many ways, his story is equivalent to that of Zeke and Dak.. Just without the pomp & circumstance. So where do you place Mo? Do you tell Mo that you're going to slowly work him back into some dime packages and use that as an opportunity to keep Brown on the field? I welcome feedback because I really like Brown. Carr isn't coming off. My boy OScan isn't coming off without a fight. So what do you do? I'm of the opinion that you go with the bold portion above. Your thoughts?

It will partly depend on what Mo looks like in practice. If he looks like the guy that was out there early in the year before he got injured I think you have to find a way to make room for him in the starting lineup. In that case, I think Oscan would be the weak link, relatively speaking and based on his play this year alone, so you'd Brown to the slot.

I can't image Mo will be totally ready. He'll be a little rusty. I say continue with the status quo. Continue to start AB and let him grow. Bring Mo in but sparely and give him reps so he won't overdue it, but he'll be ready in the playoffs.

brown didn't get targeted one time yesterday and he's a rookie. I know Carr followed Evans but still

Hopefully Mo can get back to playing the way he was before the injury. It'll be a good problem to have.
I would say it is.

There is a nice feeling when I think of having 5 quality DBs in the secondary.

They could really need it down the stretch as teams fall behind and have to pass.

The DL should be pleased,too.

Meaning they may get coverage sacks.

Not a bad thing.

I remember one play where he let the receiver get behind him, but Winston either missed the throw or wasn't able to get the pass off.

Now, it appeared that a safety was shaded to that side, but Brown dropped the coverage too quickly for the safety to get over.

I think they need to find a way to move on from both Scanny and Mo, either thru the draft or FA. Neither are durable enough. We need play makers that can stay on the field....

Why cut Carr? He is cheap, is a great locker room guy and is always available. Keep them all and draft another CB
8M isn't cheap and though he's serviceable he is a weak spot mainly due to lack of speed/agility. He's a good guy and good locker room presence agree. There has to be better CBs for 8/yr. Scandrick is coming back from injury, so it makes me want to give him the edge in regaining his higher level of play.

Not only that we drafted two who should be a lock for the pro bowl, possibly all pro? Along with 2 quality starters. 4 starters total with a possible two more stepping up next year.
The pieces are in place, one by one. One nasty pass rusher and I'll feel MUCH better. Love that we got our QB of the future most of all.

Carr has had a terrific season, and he's ALWAYS available.
He's done well, but Mo has been the standout by far. Mo's play is what a #1 starting corner should display, but have to give you the health factor hands down admittedly.

Brown consistently gets burned several (a handful) times a game. I think he has a ballhawk mentality but needs to be more seasoned in picking his aggressive/anticipated jumping routes.

I have a tough time committing much to a player who in the course of 5 years has only played in 60% of the games. That is Mr. Claiborne. Yes he did play very very well in his 7 games this year. Half of our games. In the last 3 years he has played in about 48%. How long do you hold on to the hope he gets anywhere near 14 games or so?
