Hiring Quinn did not mean we would be like the Seahawks nor does it mean we will be Atlanta, players have a lot to do with the outcome. You act as if it is all the coach yet players still play the game they must execute and produce, coach can't do that for them. Talent wins in the NFL. I want Quinn to bring in his coaches, not Jerry Jones. I have listed to the whinnying about Jerry is running the team and hiring coaches and forcing other coaches on to the staff. here we have a HC who has brought in the people he wants, he hired Quinn and has let Quinn put in parts to help run his defense.

An England native, Durde spent a year with the Cowboys coaching staff as an intern when Jason Garrett was head coach. He replaces Jim Tomsula, who was let go with defensive coordinator Mike Nolan.

So basically Dallas has imported 3 defensive coaches from Atlanta....a team that gave up 30+ points in almost half of their games this past season???? Okay, great expectations for 2021.

Yes I know who we are, While you have opinions others who cover the NFL do not see Quinn as you do. You are entitled to your opinion of course and yet it seems to be the same one be it Garrett or now any other coach. That is fine. When Quinn got hired people automatically started talking legion of boom, Seattle defense but as others pointed out, we don't have those same players that Seattle had so trying to compare the two situation is different. Same holds true with saying this is going to be the falcons defense. I expect Quinn and his staff to get this defense to produce and should be held accountable for failure or success but it will be based a lot on the talent here at this stage and talent to be added to this roster because believe or not talent within a roster plays a big role in the success or failure.

Not a winning record in his NFL coaching career.....I would consider that failing.

That is a very general way of looking at it but ok.

I think we can all tell what a quality defense looks like and what is bad.

For example I think the Rams defense is a little better than what Atlanta trotted out.

We could have Buddy Ryan and Jim Johnson together and they still couldn’t get this current group to be good. Until they change the talent nothing will change.

wow, ..this one is puzzling .. doesn't have a reputable resume from a DL coach that taught and coached up heralded names .
I was more preparing to hear about Giff Smith or Tosh Lupoi as DL coach. ..someone who has coached around the Bosa's or Grady Jarrett's...

I thought Aden Dude was more aimed at the LB role.
I hope it works out for Quinn and this defense..
