We only have 19 more to go...tomorrow a rumor is going to leak we traded 27th, randle, williams, and dmac to the Titans for 2nd pick, Brian orakpo, and next year's number 3. We will then trade the 2 to the Eagles for 20, 2, 3, Sanchez, Mathews, kendricks, and money to pay Polk. We will then trade our 2, 3 Mathews, money for Polk to Minn for All Day and McKinnon. That leaves us with the Eagles 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to go with our other four picks plus AD. The kicker AD reups his deal and signs a new 3 yr 28 mill deal. Only #28 total dollars is guaranteed as rumors have surfaced AD is on immediate decline. Bank it!

The thing that keep sticking out to me is the pay cut thing. Why ask him to take a pay cut than refuse to trade him after he wasn't interested in that?

I think players sometimes call a team's bluff.

Former GM Pat Kirwan mentioned it happening to him. He said that when you ask a player to take a paycut, you gad better be prepared to cut him, because if you're not you can find yourself in a tough position.

We may gave the very same situation with Brandon Carr. But we are planning to have that conversation after the draft, when we will have maximum leverage, when teams have the most players and least money.

The Vikings may try the same with Peterson, but his market will obviously be better than Carr's.

I agree. I love the guy but I'm not giving up what it would take to get up there. Too many other needs.

Maybe............but history shows that we usually draft the guys we bring in.

I think of our last 5 first round picks, that Mo was the only guy not to come in for a visit.
