Poor widdle baby. I wish my employer would "abandon" me to the tune of $50 million over the past 6 years.
Why should they be down on their knees in gratitude when they can cut him at their own whim? As I said before, this contract is essentially 3 club options for the next 3 years. If the spoiled cry baby doesn't like those terms, he should not have signed the contract he did.
They should understand that its not worth paying him $13 million a year to be a cancer. They should have just worked quietly behind the scenes to get a 1st and maybe a little bit more for him from a team that would be a better fit. Instead, the Vikings coach and GM are acting like petulant babies. You could say the same of Peterson, but he doesn't feel like they had his back, which they didn't really, so just move on.
