Commanders signed Adrian to 1 year deal, he is pretty much done but he gets to play with Sooner Perine and Williams which is cool

AP will still be no joke to have to tackle and cover out of the backfield.

He's never really been a receiving threat. He averages 1.9 receptions per game and his season best is 2.7 receptions per game. And 8.0 yards per reception isn't great.

He may suprise a few people this year. He had no O-line in Arizona last season and never really got a chance in NO, but the skins line is pretty good (when healthy) and if they stay that way i wouldn't put another 1000 yard season past AP, he is a freak of nature

AP has never been good in the passing game in any respect. One dimensional. Zimmer wanted him gone from Minny from the start.

I am kind of surprised his receiving skills are that under par, and one dimensional, I'd still be wary of him as a D co-ordinator, the NFC East is going to be some battle ground this year.

I remember him saying he was going to become the all-time leading rusher ... many have tried, no one will ever break ES record.

I wouldn't be surprised with total yards of 1k with 6-7 TDs (rushing + receiving). Washington has a decent line.

he passed jim brown today over 12,000 yds, how many does emitt have\?

18355. AP still has a long way to go to get to that number, but he does look good and if he holds up he is going to have a 1200+ rushing season this year. The guy is a freak and to think the skins got him for a measley 1m

18355 yards for Mr. Smith ... No way any back is ever catching Mr. Smith ... Not in todays NFL.

I loved ES game because I loved Walter Payton game (sweetness), very similar players and careers...both class acts. Rip Sweetness.
I liked both of them too, I think ES kept playing just to pass walter.
To do that a back has to play a long time and not miss many games.

True, but thought he’d finally just be done putting up with the “slavery” the NFL inflicts upon him though

He looks like he's still enjoying the game, a tough man. Saquan Barkley up next for us.
