Peterson probably can't handle nearly 30 touches a game anymore, and he really doesn't do well when splitting carries (we saw this in New Orleans), so the Commanders will have to hope Smith gets the offense quickly so they can balance it a little more. Seems like Smith does already though.

Washington couldn't get rolling this game. Even in his first game he averaged less than 4 yards per rushing attempt. That average went way down yesterday. I wonder when he will finally realize Emmitt's record isn't a realistic possibility.
