I don’t think I’ve ever even started more than 5 threads on this site in all the years I’ve been a member but idk maybe I’m wrong.

Anyway, I’m about to turn 31 years old and I’m starting to wonder if this is worth it. Every year the same old heartbreak.

Y’all go through this same letdown as me every year. However, maybe I need some perspective because at this point in my life, it has drastically changed and I’m starting to wonder if this is even worth it anymore.

I hate letting things I can’t control affect me this much.

See ya. My son is 14 and just started liking this pig slop. He’s glad it’s over because it’s too stressful

The last game I let get to me was the 94/95 loss to the 49's. I was 31.

My wife just came through and had to ask me who won. Would have been the same had we won.

It's entertainment. Reality TV. Take it for what it is.

The Aaron Glenn/ Roy Williams 4th quarter collapse 17-18 years ago was it for me.

Loyalty. That's what matters. Pick your team and stay w/ them no matter what. Through bad times, maybe pay less attention, drink more, kiss the old lady more, stuff like that. But whatever you do, don't switch teams. That's coward's stuff.

It's worth it if they ever win one. The mavs 2011 championship was worth all the heartbreaking season.

Until next year fellas. It was fun and entertaining. Keep things in perspective as life does goes on and there is always next year

I will enver stop being a fan... NEVER, but I AM ALSO older and wiser (i hope) and I am also a song willed person... As for me.. I wont ever see a Cowboys game EVER as long as Dak is teh QB

Here's the thing, getting up to go to work tomorrow should distract everyone
from "the stress of 'your team' losing any game".

Impossible as much as I’d like too

I'm nine years older than you are.

I went through what you are going through now about 10 years ago. I had a blast watching us win in the 90's but those days will never come again. The NFL isn't what is was then either.

It's just a diminished, soft product now. I'm at the point now where I can take it or leave it.

It was a great experience once upon a time though.......

There's a reason liquor stores were never closed during the height of COVID lockdowns. Just get drunk and forget about it. Next year, be prepared for the same thing
