From talking to fans of both teams over the past couple weeks, they seem to think that the NFC is a supremely weaker conference, and that the next several SB wins will be determined by one of their teams.

Reminds me of the 80s and through the Dallas Dynasty of the mid 90s when the AFC was the weaker conference and the NFC Championship game was the "real Super Bowl"

Its time for the NFC to take back supremacy and I hope it happens soon. I hate being told that my team is in the weaker conference. That being said, I want ANYONE other then an AFC team to win the SB next year.

Personally I think the gap is closing between the AFC and NFC

Well it is one of those old Ric Flair scenarios.

"To be the man you have to beat the man"

For years the NFC was the Conf and like you said everyone thought the NFC Championship was the actual superbowl because it had the best two teams.

Well those tables turned and results speak pretty clear, the AFC has done better over the last few years.

However I would like to see it turn around...EXcluding the skins, of course.:D

Yeah, I hear the Stealers looked unbeatable this past Sunday.

That and the Pats have won their 3 SBs with last second FGs. The last blowout SB went to the NFC with Tampa over Oakland. The gap between the two conferences is not that great.

A wins a win. It doesn't matter if you won by 1 point or a 100 points.

I totally agree with you. Until a NFC team steps up, the AFC has bragging rights.

I am not questioning the winning at all. I would gladly take 1 point Superbowl wins for Dallas. It is just the word dominance is getting thrown around that I question. With the margins being so close, that doesn't point to dominance. Dominant was when the NFC was blowing out the AFC in the Superbowl for several years. There was a clear difference in level of play from the NFC Championship game to the Superbowl in those days. I don't see that in today's NFL with the top teams of each conference. If there is an edge, it is slight and nowhere near the definition of dominant.

I took it as the W/L column not by scores or how well the teams played.
But you do make a good point, when the NFC was winning they were killing some people.
