Ridiculous call/rule. He had firm control and two feet down before his foot first touched out of bounds. Whatever happens after that shouldn’t matter. That should be a catch all day forever.

What happened out of bounds should not count imo. He had possession in the end zone with two feet down.

I guess they're saying that the little spin the ball did was movement beyond what's allowed in the rules. But it was in his possession as it happened. Didn't help that he lost the ball later.

Why should anything that happens after a body part touches out of bounds matter? The play is dead at that moment yet a defender can still rip it out and make it any incompletion? Ridiculous!
