The Pats are great BUT man that AFC East hasn't really been much during the Belichick/Brady Era. I'm no Romo apologist but he's had to face McNabb and Eli through most of his career in the NFC East. Brady has gone against the likes of Chad Pennington, Mark Sanchez, and whoever the Bills/Dolphins threw out there for 6 games a season

i agree. pats have benefited from a much weaker afc.

Yeah this is true. AFC East has been horrible. Pats have won the east every single time except that one year Brady got hurt the first game of the year. And even then , they won 10 games.

They pretty much get a free pass to the playoffs every year and guaranteed a home game. Which always helps.

can you redo this post later when youre sober?

What is he saying that isn't true? I am also rooting for the Pats. I can't stand Seattle. They get a little relevance and are insufferable from their team to their fans.

Brady and Bill are one of the best ever at their respective positions.

This will be their 6th Super Bowl. No one else can say that.

1. You are talking about a guy who went to 4 Super Bowls in row and comparing him to a guy who has never went past the AFC title game.
2. Kelly threw 7 passes that 52-17 game. Reich played most of that game. So no, Reich is not elite.

I chuckle about how so much defense of a QB who has 9 TDs and 12 picks in the playoffs, yet he is elite. Is he bad? Of course not. But let the kid actually accomplish something before calling him elite.

He's 2nd tier just like Romo, Rivers and those likes. Would you call Phillip Rivers elite? Because that is what Luck is at this point. Rivers also went to an AFC title game early in his career and had playoff success. Then he tailed off.

So sorry if I don't buy the Luck hype yet in regards to how the media portrays him.

He does not belong with the elite QBs yet. Give it time to play out and maybe he will.

I'm not the one using a lopsided score as a barometer to whether a quarterback is elite or not, you are!!

Frank Reich isn't elite in your mind, why not, didn't he have the largest deficit comeback in NFL history against Houston in an AFC championship game...so by your standard, of so called scoring, Reich must be elite then(sarcasm) Luck doesn't have much to help take some of the burden of his shoulders, certainly doesn't have much of a defense and when your team is down by 14-17 points, your team becomes more one dimensional than it is already and if you don't think Luck is an elite quarterback, I suggest you haven't watched him near enough because without Luck, Indy isn't even in the AFC championship game or the playoffs for that matter..that's the definition of an elite quarterback

I want you to name me Brady's supporting cast on his Super Bowl victories and get back at me.

Luck is not elite. He is exactly what Phillip Rivers was.

You have showed me nothing that makes him elite except your excuses, which tells me he's anything but. 9 Tds/12 INts.

You have no substance in your argument at all except excuses and weak analogies.

Seattle won their FIRST title...their fans are gonna be nuts. If I waited that long, Id go nuts too.

Brady is a stuck up moron and bill is a proven and bonified cheater. And they play in a crappy division and conference.

Still will be rooting for them. Can't stand Seattle or their fans.

I really have no beef with the Patriots or Brady. I've enjoyed watching Brady throughout his career. Much better than that yokel named Peyton Manning.

And John Elway, for that matter. His team got KILLED 55-10! And Peyton isn't elite because his team got spanked last year 43-8.

To add:

The Broncos have lost all those Super Bowls by severe blowouts.

2 wins
5 blowouts
