Are you optimistic about 2025 the coaching changes and free agency

....in case you forgot, life is conundrum. 50/50. If 25' turns out better than 24', mission accomplished.
 
Yes...good times coming...bought me two Dak Jersey's an will give them to the homeless...they can find their own bed.
 
Even with Dak healthy, the gap between the team and the Lions, Eagles, and Chiefs of the world is humongous.

The playoffs are questionable. The defensive front still lacks talented size and the offensive skill position roster needs several players to emerge. OT is a trainwreck.

I am optimistic about improvement, but overall, I cannot say that I am.

yeah the FA period , not a lot available, and I think they think they can get rest
of what they need in the draft.
I would be happy if they do a good job drafting, but feel like they need to get 2 big names in
the draft.
Hampton, Golden, Ewers would be great. IMO
 
Optimistic about going deep in the playoffs - no (which is what I voted)

I am interested in what happens this coming year though. It could be a fun year if you just watch the season and enjoy the games. I am in College Football mode with this team. We are a Group of 5 team playing against Big 4 conferences. Any success is a positive if you are not focusing on the record but the wins each week.

I want as many wins as possible but I also want us to just lay the biggest egg ever and get a top 5 draft pick for someone like Arch Manning. Tough choices. They will probably go 8-9 or something and stay drafting in the middle.
 
We won’t have any idea as to whether these changes will be effective until the team gets a few regular season games under their belt.
Part of the problem with this team is that they are told they’re Super Bowl contenders during TC and pre-season; then go out and soil the bed during the later part of regular season and Wildcard playoffs.
 
Absolutely not. It's not even about Schottenheimer either. No HC can change this culture without serious changes in the front office and that hasn't happened. They might or might not compete in the regular season, depending on Dak's health and whether he played like he did in 2024 (like garbage), but IF they make the playoffs, they'll choke like they always do. That's the culture of this team. Soft when it matters most....and that's a direct result of Jerry and how he runs things.
 
Have we appointed a competent GM who has the appropriate control and authority?
If not then No!
 
Optimism is relative am I more optimistic than I was last year when we did absolutely nothing in free agency yes I think so.

Just for the fact that we made an effort to try to do something even if it ends up wrong.

Am I optimistic that we will make the playoffs no our division is too strong.

If we did somehow make the playoffs am I optimistic that we would win a game or get to the Super bowl absolutely not
