Remember that "easy" part of the schedule? Not so fast.

The Cowboys will play a 3-0 Panthers team in game #4. The Panthers are not only undefeated, they have the #1 defense in both points and yardage. By the way, the Eagles defense is ranked #2 in points allowed.

What I don't understand is how the NFL would think it fair to have a team that played 10 days ago versus a team that played 6 days ago.

That's right. A team that played on a Thursday night will be paired with a team that played on Monday night. There isn't any other way the NFL could have scheduled this game?

To be the best you have to beat the best.

This fan base is going to have to relearn not to fear teams like we used to...we have the 2nd youngest team in the NFL and certainly have one of the most explosive offensives paired with an upcoming defense

Let's hope the upward trends continue as do the ws against good teams

Is it fair the Cowboys have gotten the same10 day advantage after the Thanksgiving game for as long as I can remember?

Actually I they have been playing on the Thursday night after as of late....and they pay for it with a 4 day turn the week prior....

I agree no reason for fans to be whining about this, but it would have been a bit more logical to have this week's game a normal Sunday game vs a Monday night...good news is both are home games.

There ate no easy wins in the NFL… 3-0 is not intimidating lol

Hell, if the team was 0-3 there would be “freak out” posts about how they would be a “wounded animal” coming to AT&T and how they are gonna be a tough out and throw the kitchen sink at us cuz their backs are against the wall and desperate for a W lol

All even in the end.

Anyone moaning about the extra time we will have in Dec for WFT after NO on Thur?

They get to make a trip to Vegas while we sit home.

An extra day shouldn't much matter anywhere on the schedule.

Given all the puzzle pieces that have to fit someone is bound to not be happy here and there.

On the flip side in all the genius that is Roger Goodfella and 32 blood thirsty owners is this insane insistence on 17 game schedules and this Thurs night made for TV product. The Panthers lost two of the best on the roster to injury playing on a Thurs after just getting banged up last Sunday .

So while the Panthers are * 3-0 * they beat the Jets who may have more interceptions then completions at this point and Houston starting a rookie QB in his first game action . Let’s not get too statistical with the Panthers start just yet.

The Cowboys need to take advantage of a rare 3 straight home games and go 3-0 in this stretch against very beatable teams .

Ya'll looked at the schedule and saw the Panthers and thought "easy win", as if we're some kind of juggernaut of a team that blows teams away.

The truth is it's a new season and you can't judge them off last season. This very well could be a loss for us. They have a new QB, a young head coach, and a great defense.

The Panthers will have 9 days to prepare and we'll have 5. This won't be a cakewalk and we should take no team lightly.
