After Eagles Come Undefeated Panthers

Well whatever. We’ll be favored and we’re at home. We should win these games.
I'm sure you've been a Cowboys fan long enough that you know that being favored, being at home, and playing a game we should win has recipe for disaster written all over it.

Hopefully things are different now, but it's still too early to know for sure.

They probably will be without McCaffrey now. That should help
Given his league-leading production, he has more of an effect than any non-QB in the league.
It's a devastating blow if they are missing him.

They also lost their #1 pick, CB Jaycee Horn

Plus, two have their wins have been against poor teams with rookie QBs...the other to the Jekyll and Hyde Saints with unpredictable Jameis Winston

I watched Carolina last night. They will not stay undefeated long.
Yeah, honestly Darnold did not look good. The only way he found a WR was if he had a ton of time in the pocket. Just get a bit of pressure on him and he will fold. I don't think he can read a defense.

I keep my opinions real and just because it’s my team doesn’t mean I’m not giving a real opinion.

If I wasn’t a fan of this team and I saw this 7 game stretch I’d have Dallas picked in every game except the Vikings.

The reality is we could go 7-0… Worst case if 5-2.

This upcoming schedule is soft and the softness starts with Dallas playing at home for nearly a month.

Wait, Darnold didn't look good?

Darnald- 23-34 for 304 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTS, and 2 Rushing TDs. 96 rating.

Dak- 23-27 for 237 yards, 0 TDs, 1 INT, 0 Rushing TDs. 88 rating

So, you're telling me that everyone here has been talking about how Dak had a great game Sunday, but Darnald didn't look good? Whatttttt?

Their start is kinda like the Cowboys starting 3-0 in 2019. We beat 3 nothing burger teams.

Having said that no team can take any other team for granted and automatically assume they're a win. If our Cowboys show up focused they'll leave with a W. Overall we are just a little better than they are. They are better than they were in 2020 though.

Sorry, he was hesitant on almost everything it seemed to me. In the first half he only made a throw after the initial route and the receiver sat down in a spot. Nothing seemed to be on an initial read. Got sacked and fumbled twice.

Stats are not a good indicator these days in this pass first and always NFL world. I mean we have 14 QB's with over a 70% completion percentage so far this year.

If the Cowboys keep losing players to injury and COVID they will struggle to beat anyone.

Remember that "easy" part of the schedule? Not so fast.

The Cowboys will play a 3-0 Panthers team in game #4. The Panthers are not only undefeated, they have the #1 defense in both points and yardage. By the way, the Eagles defense is ranked #2 in points allowed.

What I don't understand is how the NFL would think it fair to have a team that played 10 days ago versus a team that played 6 days ago.

That's right. A team that played on a Thursday night will be paired with a team that played on Monday night. There isn't any other way the NFL could have scheduled this game?
they will be missin McCaffery and Horn

well, they have been kind of lucky...Jets with Rookie Wilson. Texans, actually playing their 3rd string QB and Saints were a mess last week, missing players and coaches.

remember last year, out pathetic defense looked really good at the end playing back up QBs and injured teams....

now, with that said, they have done what they are supposed to do. beat them and dominate....so it remains to be seen how good they really are....

Doubtful we play the Panthers with #22 so we're great.

AND??

don't care I am not concerned if they are here or not when we paly no one has pitied us the last 2 years missing many key pieces or playing unfair schedules on short weeks. Twice we played lie 3 games in 11 days after late SNF or TNF games then and early road game??? ..so no excuses correct next man up, next team up!!

3-0 look at who they played and who was missing when they played them. Remember when we were 3-0 in 2019 what happed late that year went 3-5 against our toughest opponents,,they are tad overrated right now IMHO...

we played on the road against two good teams and could be 2-0 its all i worry about, US...

we have a 3 game homestand now to establish a foothold on the season..time to pout up or shut up for thsi DC team..

why do fans post this stuff why are you scared of the upcoming schedules? just whos up NeXT lets play worry about the next team..no looking ahead..

yup same as when we started 3-0 in 19..a little bit of of a mirage..

They haven’t played a team the caliber of the Cowboys yet.
