What we REALLY needed was
1. Carr or 1. Carr
2. Nicks 2. Williams
3. Poe 3. DeCastro
What I'm seeing is a Stud in Carr and cooler full of cheap beer ...
Pluggers, unwanted's , castoffs on the cheap .
Are they an upgrade ? sure, but how much? how good is Pool? not very good at all, He's okay - Orton is a guy who was released, now he gets 5 years? , who the hell is Mackenzy Bernedeau? or Nate Whatever his name is ? Dan Connor - honestly never heard of him.
Wouldn't we have been better off , getting 2 studs and hammering a homerun on draft day and landing DeCastro or Poe etc?
I love Carr, great grab but that does NOT close the gap on the NYG - who btw, went all season minus the Prince, and get a few other injured guys back.
Yes, that 's right, they're gonna be better .
We have failed to add an impact game changer upfront on either side of the ball.
I feel okay, but not as hyped as I was.
