Us realistic fans knew that was it. That game told us everything we needed to know. This game was very similar and we just aren’t at that same level.
Yup, people thought that Philly game meant we were some type of juggernaut lol
Our seasons SB hype was all built blowing out lesser teams.I knew that was fool’s gold and people were like we are back beating there JV team.
The matchups going into this game were a concern. Their strengths exposed our weaknesses.
We had warning signs from several games this year against top defenses.Reasonable Answer. To me past history, when you use a measuring stick game like the Cardinals, you get a feeling on if you can even compete in the Playoffs. 2014, 2016, and 2007 felt differently. I guess post Jimmy 2014 is still our best season.
This team was absolutely atrocious against good teams in the second half of the season. All the homers here could say was “but the Chargers…but the Patriots” when in fact we’re probably lucky we caught those teams earlier in the year. They were today what they were the entire second half of the season, paper tigers.

Good point. I was pissed after that Raiders game too but missing Lamb and Cooper that game gave me a glimmer. That cardinals game was the door slam.Nah for me, it was the Raiders loss. I came on this board that night and said this season was done in a thread I made. Writing on the wall this team did not have it. Oh but then we reeled off 4 wins in a row against junk teams and people thought all was right. then literally the same thing happened against the Cardinals. This team was exposed a long time ago and people wanted to bury their head in the sand and ignore it.
