I hate the Dolphins, and their miserable fans. They are the only fanbase as great a bunch of rivals as the Skins fanbase. Not dumb as stumps like Bills and Eagles fans. Not snooty like Jints fans or vindictive, depraved monsters like Pats fans. Phins fans don't bother to actually come out for games, but they sure talk a great game of trash. :)

This is a week for passion, if ever there was one. We can still blow it, blow the whole shebang, and two weeks from tonight be in total despair. But last week's game, despite the D's issues, was positively thrilling. If the O can play that way, we can hang with any team.

I don't know about you, but I want a SHUT OUT of the Skins. And a shellacking of at least 30 points to ice the cake.

In their own house - zero, zip, nada, zilch, the goose egg, the royal nothing...then the 12th man will look, feel, and be...stunned. :D

I'm sure glad that you're on our side...

Come to think of it, why are there even sports teams in Miami to begin with? No one comes out to see the Marlins either. And if it weren't for Shaq, the Heat would be known as the Cold.

Hey Mark, seriously, we have to stomp on them.

After we blew the first match up this season, their fans miraculously forgot 14 odd thumpings. It was like only those last two minutes in September 'counted' over the past half decade. Fascinating really, how years of humilation could be so easily wiped away by a couple of long passes to Santana Moss.

They can not be allowed to win again. Their cretinous memories are far too short already.

And for the team....this is the chance to put the Skins AWAY. They need to eliminate a divisional opponent, if not mathematically this week, realistically...a sound thumping will keep the Skins aware in offseason they are still OWNED by the Dallas Cowboys. And that ownership is only beginning.

We need the momentum of a team peaking offensively right now, and the confidence that comes with effectively ending a division rival's season.

Some kids are gonna step up BIG this week. earn their stripes. Maybe Burnett, I'm thinking, maybe Copper too.

LOL Waffle, as a life-long Miamian, I actually agree with you for the most part. The Dolphins are still supported because they do have a modestly long tradition here, but every other team has felt the curse that is the South Florida Front Running Phoney Fan! The Marlins will most likely be skipping town in a couple of years because of this.

LOL, actually LTN, I'm also a Dolphins fan but I know what you're saying.

In terms of your comments regarding our contest this week, I agree with you, nothing would be sweeter than a shutout, but I will take a victory of any margin. I will say this though, I can almost hear the fanbase (and perhaps even the HC) getting their "decimated by injuries" excuses ready.

I agree LTN. A Cowboy win by a margin of 30 sounds good. With their "hurt" corners, another preformance by the O like this past Sunday, it could happen. I do think that the Cowboys have to jump early and often. I'm hoping for at least 14 in the 1st quarter.
Commander fans need to be put back in their place. One of the best things about a Cowboys win would be that the Skins would have no hope of making the playoffs, not that there is much hope now.

What will be great is that we'll thump them in their own house.

I truly have never seen a fanbase (or team for that matter) get as excited as they did after a win in the second week of the season. That right there, makes me want to beat them more than anything else. The playoffs? Seriously, second to me in this case. I want to humiliate the Commanders at FedEx and let them know just how lucky they were to beat us the first time.

The thing is... we're a much better team now than we were in week 2. No comparison on defense. If they hope to make a living sending Moss deep on us now... they're in for a rude awakening.

it's a sin - but i'm already looking past washington to carolina. even on the road, dallas should handle washington pretty easily. the Commanders look like one of the suckier "bubble teams" at this stage of the season.

... let go of Parcells hand. Gibbs will hang on, sporting a malicious grin on his face, squeezing Parcells' hands, and Parcells begins to grimace in pain.

After Parcells whispers a barely audible "uncle", Gibbs let's go, big grin still on his face turns to the crowd and yells "We swept them", and the crowd, not a single one of whom has left the stadium, goes bananas celebrating Dallas' playoff hopes going up in smoke.

Do you actually believe that you will have fans in DeadEX?
Do you actually believe that a 100 pound dork with glasses :geek: will make BP "grimace"?

Listen, peauxmortes, this is what really happens. Gibbs walks over to Parcells with a stern face, reaches his hand out to Parcells, and in a "I'm not going to cry" -like voice says "I heard you have an offensive coordinator position open?":cry2:

I agree. The kids are gettin too uppity! Time to ***** slap em back into place! We were a few minutes away from a goose egg last time, and our defense is better. BAM!
