Do you know who Royce West is? David Wells pled guilty to felony tax evasion but you can imagine the dynamic between defense attorneys and bondsman. That is Wells longtime business associate from his bounty hunting days and is still obviously bankrolling his enterprises. Both of them have lots of contacts in the media and use them to push their own agendas.

They are the two that got cease and desist orders and Dez says they betrayed him. Difference is that Horn, Taylor, McMahon, et al won't let Bryant speak as an unnamed source.

ah ha ! so the plot thickens ! I did not know that, I knew wells was a cop and bondsman previously.
Then I have to think these 2 are somehow close to Jerry too? I doubt he hired them unknown.

Dez should move then and either play franchised until a free agent, or ask for other people that he likes to supervise him.

I really fail to understand how playing under franchise tag is so incredible difficult for Dez. In all of my years of watching football I don't think I have ever seen a player have such a difficult time handling it. It (franchise tag) is tool owners fought hard to keep. I am getting to point that I hope Jerry doesn't give him him long term deal just to teach this man/child some humility.

I don't think Dez realizes that DAL doesn't want to use the tag. They would also prefer a long term deal. They just want to split the risk with Dez.

I'm going to guess the Cowboys aren't moving because Dez (Idiot Roc, what a mistake ever signing with that idiot company) isn't moving. I agree that it appears low-ball, but they have already pretty much made it clear that their offer isn't in stone. They just said that Dez is asking for the city, not just the house and surrounding land.

The had a guy on NFL radio talking about a similar type deal, he was saying that an average of a little over $14 per year, and between $36 and $38 guaranteed in the first 3 years. I think he was a former GM.

Said Stephen is insulting Dez and his agent by saying that they need the market to settle or set. Everyone know what Dez needs and is worth regardless of what others sign for.

Give him a deal that is just slightly over fair.
To give this guy the biggest WR contract ever
or close to it
or Megatron money is a COLOSSAL mistake.
