Aggressive Packers

Don't think Fuller is worth it, but they do need a ton a CB help.

See what they'd be willing to offer for Scandrick. I'd take a 5th considering his cap friendly contract, it would be a goof deal for both teams.

They lost Jordy Nelson ( finally & for the last time) what's Rogers #1 cannonball target going to be?
Is that guy from CHICAGO such a shut-down DB that the rest of the NFC NORTH dreads squaring off against those ***** packers?,,, I'd likely think not.

( biased viewpoint has been logged& duly notedo_O)

Dude I’d take a 7th no ones giving anything for him
Maybe, but you have to consider the re-set market that was just leveled by FA. Scandrick's deal (in comparison to other starting slot CBs) is actually a really good deal for the team getting him. Sometimes that is worth and extra round or two in the draft (especially teams with comp picks). I'm not saying it's a lock but with all factors considered it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Packers are all trying to compete for championships and stuff by being all aggressive in free agency and adding talent to their roster.

Fools.

agreed
they will pay whatever it takes to get their guy #winning

The Packers did offer a pay cut, but Jones said the deal was so bad, there was no way Nelson would take it, not with the interest there seemed to be in him from other teams. Even so, Jones said Nelson contemplated returning to the Packers.

I’m not going to say what they offered him, but they really, really low-balled him,” Jones said. “It wasn’t even anything you would consider. Even with all that, he was still considering taking it.

As a Packer fan it is refreshing to see the activity the front office has taken. Ted only relied on the draft and even that has been more miss than hit in the last few years. Only tme will tell if the new GMs agressiveness will pay off. But at least he is trying.

I hope no one sighs Irving to an offer sheet. We should have given him a 1st round tender. Would have only cost us 1.3 million more. The risk/reward of losing Irving for a 2nd round pick is NOT worth it!! Will we be able to find a DT in the draft as good as Irving? If you say no, then we should have signed him to a contract or given him a 1st round tender!!

This makes sense given that Rodgers has been injured the last few seasons. A smart GM knows that his prime QB days are numbered.

Good thing is that our FO and smart GM know they have a long long window so no aggressive moves needed :oldcouple:

If we lose him it’s because we wanted to lose him
We can match any offer he gets

This, we seem to think we can fill all of our holes with the draft and that will not happen. Nice to see your top brass doing something.
