Aikman Getting Frustrated

The FG at the end was the right decision? Had it been early in the 4th or prior to that I'd agree. But not with 6 minutes left with Dallas struggling to move the ball. It was a crap decision.

With these game conditions I'd rather have two chances to tie than one chance to win. Dallas still needed a TD even after making the FG but gave up field position and the 4th and 7 chance. NE then started at their 25 instead of their 12 had Dallas not converted. But at least they would have had a shot. They gave that up by kicking the FG which accomplished nothing.
Nope. They got the ball back with 3 minutes and 3 time outs left. Then moved the ball well before the referees invented tripping penalties.

They got what they wanted.

It was almost intercepted in mid air. Very risky and ill-timed pitch in terrible weather

Oh I didn't see that. Looked like alot of players around but didn't see it almost intercepted. I thought the playcall was bad. That is why I had previously said not to run those though.

I hated the play all, too.

Dak is almost as slow as Witten. Why are they running options?

For good reason. Periera needs better glasses if he really thought that was even close to a trip. He said Frederick‘s leg “made contact” with the defender — Frederick’s leg wasn’t even close to making contact
periera is NEW YORK mob mentality for the officials. He sounds like a Goodell puppet. This sure looked like complicit game rigging by a few rogue refs. Kraft and the NFL seem to have some sort of lock step understanding.

Yes, they got the ball back, so what? They passed up on a 4th and 7 opportunity to get the ball back at the 8 yard line? If they missed the 4th and 7 they would probably get the ball back in better field position. Either way, 2 chances instead of one. Cutting your chances by 50% doesn't sound like a good decision to me.

Have you guys ever worked with a co-worker who is not very good at their job but they are really nice and well-liked?

They really can't do the required work but people make excuses because the person is so likable, is always smiling and laughing, brings donuts to the office. After a while, none of that matters because that person's ineptness is getting you into trouble, costing the company money, and creating extra work for everyone. Eventually everyone has enough and stops caring about being nice.

That is Jason Garrett and Dallas right now.

He's ran out of excuses.
About 7 tears ago!

I'd like to see him as the next HC or possibly Romo. Forget the college boys, saw enough of them before I retired.

Aikman or Romo as HC would be one of the stupidest things the organization could do. They were great QBs and are great broadcasters, but what have they done to show they can handle a HC job? They have never been an assistant or coordinator, let alone have any coaching experience.

I would love for aikman to come coach. He knows what real coaching looks like. You know Jimmy would help him out as well on the side.
