I was driving while listening, so this is going off memory.
The first question out of the gate was, of course, Emmitt's comments a few days ago about Dallas being a 7-9 team. Troy said he strongly disagreed with that prediction. He said he believes Dallas will be "very good" this year.
Troy liked that they are flying under the radar this off-season and training camp with little or no distractions. He said the players and the franchise needed that. He said they're focused on football only, for a change.
On the topic of Owens being gone, Troy said the offense shouldn't miss him because they still have so many weapons (mentioned Roy, Hurd, Austin, Witten, Martellus and the running backs).
He spoke very highly of Tony, saying that he "emphatically" believes Tony is a "franchise quarterback." He said, "as a former NFL player, I see ability he has that is outstanding," something like that (I'm sure he's talking about the quick release and the ability to watch downfield as he moves laterally, etc.). He said Tony will win "multiple playoff games" in his career, but not sure about a Super Bowl, because it will be difficult to keep his supporting cast together.
On Tony's comment after the season about "if this is the worst thing that happens to me, then ..." .. Troy said that Tony has to remember that fans of teams (not just the Cowboys), live and die each Sunday with their team and Tony's comment caused a "disconnect" with the fans.
They talked a lot about Michael Irvin, and Troy (as always) talked highly of Mike's work ethic and how he was the leader of the team and how close he is to him.
Those were just some of the high points.
Troy never says anything real controversial or anything, but he is a great interview in that his answers are very thoughtful and intelligent.
