Troy doesn't hate Jerry. It's like a family member criticizing another member of the family. Troy is forever entrenched in the cowboy family and his criticisms come from a place of love for the franchise not hatred of Jerry. Jerry understands this and that's why troy still gets the red carpet treatment whenever he shows up for games and never hears any return fire from Jerry. If there are 3 people Jerry will never criticize or get in a tiff with: Troy, Irvin, and Dieon.

Jerry is an incompetent, lazy Gm, devoting a fraction of the time that real GMs devote to the job. In addition, he insists on being the coach by proxy, despite 29 years of failure.
I'd say there is little chance a new HC can make a difference. The new HC will be a pair of hands for Jerry, nothing more.
