Not really a good example to support your point. They lost and had 3 Ints.

The point is that your top players should be utilized. Plain and simple....Dalton's picks were on him, bad throws behind guys. bengals blew the game "ala Dallas" by playing dumb. Featuring AJ Green however is not stupid.

Each and every team zeroes in on the opponents top guy. Exception being us, we singled up on Calvin.
But so what??? I guess the Vikes wont run Peterson because we have 8 in the box??? It all about creating ways to get the ball in the hands of your best weapon. Dallas doesnt!! We make it easy for the other team.

And lets not forget this. Dez is the 6th most targeted receiver in the NFL. It isn't like he isn't getting balls thrown his way. Would I like to see him get more? Sure, but it is hard to call a problem when we actually look at the numbers

Through 8 games, Green had 10.5 targets per game, Dez had 9.5.
Green has four games with 8 or fewer targets, Dez has three.
You do realize that citing a single data point doesn't really support your "week after week" conclusion, right?

(By the way, even with those eight extra targets, Green only caught one more pass than Dez. It's not clear to me why we should be trying to throw more incomplete passes.)

Its not about his totals though. If he was consistently getting 10 a game then fine. But there are some games he's getting 6 and he's getting more targets than Terrance. That's where my frustration is at.

So you to force feed Dez, no matter what, evenf i it means team loses games, great approach, glad you aren't coaching Cowboys.

Let me just say this then....Besides the KC game, out of the other 7, how many games did Dez get o-1 ball thrown his way until late in 2nd qtr??? I am sure somone has a stat on that??? He may have 9.5 targets a game, 6th most overall etc... BUt for the most part we dont use him as much as we should or early enough!!

A.J green also moves around on the line to help create those match up problems, something Dez is incapable of doing. What do you suggest our coaches do if they can't move Dez around? It's not their fault Dez still doesn't fully understand the offense.

Waaaah!!! We don't throw to Dez enough! Forget the facts that we have one of the best TEs in football, several other capable WRs, and a QB who's good enough to be able to spread the ball around and doesn't blow like Andy Dalton! Waaaah!!!

Yeah, I'd say this is a fail, especially since Green's targets dropped and the offensive production increased during the 4-game win streak.

So everyone is good with not featuring your best player??? I guess you are the people happy being 4-4??? I am not saying force the ball. But good coaches find a way to get it done, utilize what they have. Yes we have a great TE and several other weapons, which of course will take away opportunities. However, there is no way Dez doesnt get a throw until late in the 2nd quarter??? Regardless of the 9,5 tragets he avgs, stats dont always tell the story. C'mon if anyone can say they dont wish we could be like other teams and push the envelope getting Dez the ball, like Calvin Johnson, like Jimmy Graham, its useless arguing the point. FEATURE your best weapon!!!!! Go ahead snipe away!!

Do you think Dez is the best weapon on Offense??? If so, I assume by the stats you supply your cool with how we use him??? which is fine if thats your opinion. My opinion is that we sometimes take awhile to get him involved and from my point of view, dont use him as well as we could!!

No. People are pointing out that we do feature Dez, pretty much in the same ballpark as any other team features their top receiver. We might not be good if in fact it were true that we weren't featuring him.
I guess you are the people happy being 4-4???
Yes, that's exactly what we're saying. ;)
I am not saying force the ball.
Actually, I think you are.

Dez's catches by quarter: 11, 11, 13, 10. You were saying?
Regardless of the 9,5 tragets he avgs, stats dont always tell the story.
And there it is, right on cue.

"If anyone disagrees with me, there's no point arguing!" Great.
