Al Davis Asks Kiffin to Resign

I really think its about time the other owners stp in and try to get Davis under control. The hire of Kiffin was a bad one in the first place. He was once of the youngest coaches in the NCAA and Im just glad Kiffin is showing some backbone here.

Davis is completely out of control and is literally running that franchis into the ground. He hamstrings his coaches and then stabs them in the back, he mismanages his players and their contracts, his personeell deccisions over the last 7 years have been dubious at best and he does it all in a very public and image tarnishing manner.

Davis is bad for the NFL.

A once great franchiese has turned to absolute garbage. This guy couldn't kick the bucket fast enough if I was a Raiders fan.

EDIT: Don't laugh NYC, Jerry Jones IS the next Al Davis.

Jones has only done one thing on that level and that was the Jimmy Jones fiasco. Al Davis is world renown for being psychotic, unrelenting, and without having a clue.

Al Davis is the epitome of stupidity influencing egotistical power-trips.

Simply put, Al Davis is a nut job. People were affraid to work for Jerry Jones or George Steinbrenner, they should be absolutely terriffed to work for Al Davis.

The Knicks owner is giving him a run for his money.

James Dolan is just stubborn to the extreme. Tell him he can't jump out of an airplane without a parachute, and he will be the first one to jump out.

He would rather go down in flames than be told he was wrong.

if you had to choose out of these two owners to be the owner of the Dallas cowboys. which one would you want

Jones and Davis are similar -- both are pioneers - Davis more so than Jones at this point but the bat-dookie crazy role is something that JJ will likely embrace later on.

I imagine Roger Goodell is probably trying to do the same thing to Al.

That, or very very very very desperate.

This is what happens when you start going senile...you lose focus, you know your time is coming up...you want to rush things and make bad decisions, yet he owns the team, so...?

As long as Jerry can swindle him out of things (they are good friends I heard) let Davis stay in control for all I care!

;)

C, for sure, but out of those other two I'd go with Snyder.

I wouldn't, at least Davis will be dead soon.

Skins fans have a long, long, long Snyder Era still to look forward to.

One and done is Al's motto...Coaching prospects however believe in 'Take the money and run'

Can't be a worse job in football than the one the Raiders have...Best part of it for Billionaire owners like Davis is that you don't need to have a good product or coach...Marketing alone keeps bringing in the revenue.

Wow...what a screwy team that is.

That is why the grass is always greener.

No matter how bad things seem right now, there's always Al Davis that makes it look better.

Looks like the Crypt Keeper is too cheap to flat out fire the guy.
