Funny you bring up the pushoff.

Did you see the pushoff that Jennings did against Dre Bly for the winning TD in OT vs. Denver.

Bly even stated there was contact, and you can see it on replays. Funny thing is.....it wasn't called for some reason.

Relax Rob......just like all Packer fans, you are taking this too personal.

No I missed that! It must have been right after the refs tripped the other defensive back on purpose to make sure he wouldnt get to Jennings. Or maybe the martians from the flying saucers were shining laser beams in the linebackers eyes before the play. Or maybe Bretts cadence has a hypnotic trance and he hpnotized teh defense before he threw it. Or maybe the league told Dre Bly to let Jennings catch it because the league loves Brett Favre.

I am relaxed. I just don't like when a poster makes stuff up to support an agenda that is so off the wall it is insane. I do not believe you can watch a Packer game rationally and without major bias. You have proven that with your comments.

HE stayed rigtht by Peterson while he was down on the ground making sure he was ok. Not the response of a classless player trying to hurt somebody.

He did his job.....he had to make it look good. ;)

Relax Rob.

I'm surprised you missed that Rob.....it was a little after that 40 yard run by Selvin Young that called back by a hold that never happened.

And I'm not making up stuff. It's called an opinion. And my opinion is not so off the wall that it could be called insane. Those types of plays happen in the NFL. Not all teams are squeaky clean.

Big day for TO. He will eat Harris up if he tries to single cover him...

The last time TO faced the Packers was when he played for Philthy and he completly, single handedly destroyed the Packers defense. Harris was beaten all day in man to man that they switched tactics to zone where he was beaten some more by TO that they triple coveraged him and left reciever open everywhere. I believe the score was 19-45. I know that Philthy had 40 something.

Ive been saying this for a while Al Harris is the best cover guy in the NFL. Only now after he shut down Roy Wiliams will he get credit for that. Champ Bailey is the paper champ. Even when Harris gives up a catch its with good coverage, kind of like the Owens td on Revies. He a stud and another guy who doesnt talk trash and just goes out and plays. Hall from the Falcons is very average but gets alot of hype. He might get a pick or two but gives up about 5-6 catches a game. Shutdown db's should give up no deep plays and 2-3 catches a game. Champ had a domnating season last year Ill give him that. This year, he sucks literally. He cant cover anybody. When they played Indy he couldnt even cover Dallas Clark the tight end. So TeeO is in for a tough matchup.

For fun the real top 5 or so cover dbs in the NFL today in no particular order are

Harris
Newman
Nate Clements
Anotoine Winfield(Minn)
Rashon Mathis
Samuel
Leigh Bodden (another Newman, Harris he gets lost because he plays in Cleveland and he just shuts up and plays football)

For my money I would take those 7 guys over anyone in the NFL. I might of missed someone though.

I'll disagree here. Al Harris makes his living jamming smaller types of receivers at the line. The Eagle receivers are not the best at releases off the line.
Once by they are clear to go.
And I watched Al in camp when he was with the Eagles.
Good cover for the first 20 yards. any longer and it's not there.

You lose all credibility not putting Champ Bailey on a top 5 list. The guy got beat for 1 long TD this season vs Greenbay when he was playing with an injured quad and suddenly he stinks? I dont think so.

Al Harris is a nice player, but he does bite on pump fakes and he takes cheap shots...

I think TO will own him, I just hope he comes out without a knee injury...

This should be a great game with lots of scoring...

If they're dumb enough to single cover TO, they're going to get throttled. They better have safety help over the top on him or it's going to be a long long day for Green Bay.

About the Champ Bailey quote, I meant this season and not on season's past. I think thats where theres a mix up at. Im talking on play right now. I know he is injured and is contributing to his play.

Nate Clemens is way better than what some of you guys give him credit for.
Leigh Bodden got the game winning INT in the Cincy-Cle game in week 2.

I guess in closing, this topic really has no clear cut right answers. Its more of an opinion question and it is for fun.

Harris did not shut down Roy Williams, Kitna couldn't get him the ball. There were several times when Williams was wide open, but calamity Kitna couldn't step up in the pocket and throw the ball because he's a spare QB...

This is true. The Lions will only get as far as Kitna can bring them, which tain't far (not all his fault, he's playing behind of the worst OL in the league).

On both sides at that. This is going to be a great game! These two teams match up very well with each other.

Now for those that stated that Al Harris isn't very good. Did you guys respect the play of Troy Vincent while in Philly?

NO, Floridarob had a marathon Poker game last night and then had to sleep.

As far as the post goes about Harris being a dirty player, it appears there are at least two delusional Cowboy fans and three if you count D-Town who says that Favre is not a great QB.

As far as the medical Dr goes, that is what somebody that viewed the video said that posts regulary on a Packer message board.. Whether he was a Dr or stayed at a Holiday Inn last night, I don't know, but it probably has a lot more validity that Al Harris dove at Petersons knee)still wonder how you dive at somebodys knee when their feet are under them) and tried to cripple him so he would not have to pay a linemen $500 like SS said. But we know that SS looks at the Packers with jaded view.
