I think Henry's Heisman pedigree basically ensures he gets picked in the first round, but it won't be high. He'll go in the lower end of the first, if not the top of the second.
And I think he'll have some success in the NFL IF he gets with the right team. But I don't think he'll have a long career.

Top of the second would be perfect for where we may be picking. That means we can grab a DT or CB in the first and still get a good prospect RB in the second.

We NEED a bell-cow running back. We can't afford to pass on in this draft. We made that mistake last year. Hope history does not repeat itself.

will we take Henry in the first round? Depending how we finish the season, we could trade down and get him. We obviously need a young great back. Will we take one in the first round?

If you go RB in the first round, Elliott is the man. Henry is in later rounds.

Based off from what I've seen and being an Alabama native he would be a perfect fit for this ZBS scheme the Cowboys run and he's that one cut runner that they covet and he is really good picking up the blitz with that being said we shall see how this pans out from now until April.

Henry- Brandon Jacobs 2.0

I like Elliot ok, although he is inconsistent at times.

There is no reason to draft a RB before late 2nd or early the third rd., imho.

If they go RB in round 1, my choice is Elliott. If / when he rips off a 4.3 sec 40 at the combine at 220 lbs , Mel Kiper and the so called draft experts are gonna go off the rails with all the love.

He looks absolutely nothing like Jacobs outside of height. Simplistic evaluation.

Well yeah, I'm not a scout, don't claim such. :)
As someone earlier stated, I see Henry being physical, which is good closing out games, but not the guy I (regular guy) would prefer as a complete back. I like him and would be happy to have him, just not over the top thrilled, especially in the first rd.. The guy I want the most is in next years draft, Chubb. That said, I would rather take a 3rd/4th rd. back this year (Collins?)and try to get Chubb next year somehow.

I like your thinking regarding Collins in the 3rd round but it will definitely depend on how Collins do at the combine as for his skill set he and Henry are one in the same as for Nick Chubb, he's definitely a complete RB much like Todd Gurley and if he can come back from injury and do what he did prior to the injury then I definitely see him a top 5 pick in the 2017 draft and given the track record of the Cowboys win\lose record then it will be less likely they pick in the top 5 in 2017 we'll see.

Henry is not first rd material,he will in the 3rd or 4th RD.

He wont even sneak out of the first 15 picks of the 2nd round. I dont think he will go Rd1 but noway does he make it to the bottom half of Rd2

I think you should go look at some more of Collins carries. His footwork is far better than Henry and better than any back in the country really. Henry is stronger and more physical, but similar speed.

I actually did go back and studied both Henry, and Collins earlier on YouTube and Collins is a little more fleet footed in his carries but nonetheless a powerful runner like Henry imo has a little more wiggle than Henry both are 1 cut runners a staple of the Cowboys ground game. But like you if I have my choice at RB for the Cowboys then Ezekiel Elliott, or Dalvin Cook would be my choices in the draft.

Man, I would take any of these guys and be happy. Elliot and Cook are both solid.

Exactly to me Dalvin compares to his former teammate Devonta Freeman, who is carving a nitch for himself in Atlanta.
