Alamo Bowl - Texas Tech vs. Mich. St.

some fans shouldnt drink at games.
so it is the 4th quarter, about 7 minutes left.....and a few rows in front of me, the cops show up. apparently there is a heated discussion between some Tech fans. Apparently a couple had issue with a family behind them, specifically some noise maker the mom had. They called the cops....and the mom was taken off and talked to for a bit.....the Dad got a bit obnoxious and rowdy with the couple. The wife comes back, and it seems like everything is cool. The couple then leaves.......and the two rows behind them are telling them to go the bleep on. The Husband in the couple starts talking smack begging a couple of those dudes that were behind him to follow him out. Well a few minutes later, this little tattle tale brings back the cops....I swear he went out like some kid in elementary school crying to the teacher cause he didnt get his way on the playground. Well the cops got the family to move to another section. The couple went back to their seats.
These clowns were all on the same side....they are part of the Raider nation....this is a bowl game and a time to celebrate the New Year and the season. Instead, with alcohol comes foolish behavior, and it turns brothers and sisters into enemies...
BTW, this is the first Alamo Bowl I have gone too where people were practically falling down trying to go up and down the stairs, they were so tanked.
One more thing, the crowd was weak. If our crowd tomorrow brings the noise like this crowd did tonight, we might as well get ready to hear a family of crickets instead. Neither fanbase brought it with the noise....and that is disappointing cause it was yet another good Alamo Bowl.
BTW, the Big 12 is 4-1 since I have been going. Nebraska, Texas, Missouri, and TT all won.....only the Aggies tasted defeat in that span. It will be interesting to see how the 3rd place Big 12 team will match up against the 2nd place Pac 10 team next year.

I'm not qualified to say who they should hire, but he seems to get a lot out of the players and the players seem to really love him. I don't know how high that should be factored in when making a decision like this, but I would think it might matter a bit.
The continuity and possibility of keeping the existing remaining staff in place if Ruffin stays seems like it would be good, but if Leach gets hired somewhere, maybe they all bolt elsewhere.
Have they run the board of regents and Gerald Myers out of town yet?
