You think so? I've been disappointed in Magee, and mildly surprised by McSurdy. Though I had zero expectations for McSurdy because I thought he was a better fit for the 3-4 last season and didn't do much before getting injured, then.
The coaches are obviously trying to find a spot for Magee, though. I haven't been impressed with him wherever he's been.

I thought mcSurdy was a big problem with the seams being so wide open today. I felt like he was slow to read the plays as they developed and he didn't seem to get deep enough on his drops in the zone.

I don't think he was making the roster. Sucks for him and I like him as a player, but I don't think he's built for this defense.

I hope he's able to catch on somewhere next year.

Wasn't sure where he fit but I hadn't given up on him. I think OLB not a good fit with Durant and Sims ahead of him but I think he could backup the Mike and play OLB in a pinch. Tough for the kid and not real happy for the Boys either.

I'll bet.. based on what?

Based on the #'s we have at LB and the versatility of the other guys being able to move into different positions if there is an injury. You have Carter, Lee, Durant, Sims, McGee, Holloman who are you not going to keep in favor of Albright?

Albright is the most versitile of the bunch.. and right now, i'd keep him over McGee or Durant.
