Can't say wait until next year in any sport but especially baseball when you have such a long season and a big spender like the angels in your division.

I certainly hope you are right and think you will be, then again I have no idea why he was in there to begin with tonight, Moreland was so hot coming in and was fielding great there was absolutely no reason he should have been in there.

Allright guys, we just have to come out and win tommorow ( I know "just" right) and then we are 1-1 with Lee coming up. Shot at being 2-1.

Embarrassing. Grow a pair and finish them off. CJ Wilson played as good a game as you can ask for, just like Colby Lewis in game 3 of the ALDS and the bullpen just wilted. Hate it when a player plays lights out, only for it to be thrown away by teammates that aren't ready for the big stage. Especially a 40 year old veteran like Oliver

I agree he mismanaged.

But is it me or did Cantu not play that ball hit to him hard? He was in no rush and just tossed the ball to CJ. I think if he keeps it, runs himself and dives to the base he has a much closer play. IMO, Cantu started the whole thing right there because he was not playing all out. ha, I have said it several times already but I have no idea why he is even playing with Moreland on the bench.

Edit: I guess Wilson could have gotten over there quicker himself after rewatching it, still think a good 1Bmen dives and gets the out.

If we had lost this one, no way Burnett makes a Game 4 start. CC's off the hook, but he's been very un-ace-like in the playoffs. Burning out the pen might cost us tomorrow night, however.
