I wouldn't be surprised if this was all one big joke by Jerry to keep the Cowboys relevant in the preseason. lol

I think things with Zeke are more vitriolic, vituperative, and vindictive than thought. FO is clearly not happy. Take it or leave it time. The happy, go lucky Zeke isn't used to this kind of treatment. I think it's a smart move. Got a problem? Nip it in the bud.

Morris was on his way to NO this morning, was suppose to sign there.
Oh....it all makes perfect sense now! So Morris was supposed to go to NO because Payton wanted him but the Cowboys figured they would trade Zeke, lose games, fire JG, then hire Payton by giving him not only Morris but whatever draft pick they got from Zeke.

Well played, Jerry! Well played sir

But... "anybody behind this O-line...".

And boy did he!

I have a trivia question for everyone
Who had the least yards per carry behind the same Oline in 2017?
Alfred Morris
Zeke
Rod Smith

Now who faced more men in the box on rush attempts?
Alfred Morris
Zeke

They have enough “camp bodies” without him

Jackson
Pollard
Chunn
Weber

This isnt good :banghead:

That's a good point.

Also, we're not signing Morris as a developmental prospect, but one who could walk in and play.

Could all just be signaling to Zeke, but the signal is what it is - that we're looking at options at RB not named Zeke.
