I don't think this signing impacts whether we pick Elliott or not. If Elliott is the best player on our board, we're taking him.

This - just like the Robinson signing and the other signings - give us flexibility in the draft. You still take the best player available because Ramsey, Elliott, Bosa and Jack are more talented than any of our free agent signees.

I'm telling you...he's probably one of the nicest guys in the league. Definitely a fan and local media favorite The few Commanders fans who lurk here will confirm.

The DC media can't stand him. I don't know the back story, but I have heard several of them say they are glad they don't have to deal with him anymore, and that no media in DC likes him. I don't like the media either, so I'm glad.

I have literally never heard that from anyone here in DC.

He is quickly making a fan out of me. I love his attitude.
Too often, blokes, we forget the little people. I, too, sometimes forget the little people here, so props to all your little people who make my visits here special!

You know what.....That was a great post...that made me really LOL in my cube.

This is 100% false. Not sure where you're getting that bad info from.

Alf is legit one of the good guys. He'll only be a positive addition to your locker room. He's just a quiet guy that goes about his business and goes home at the end of the day. Us Skins fans hate to see him go, especially to you all, but we are all happy that he's getting a chance somewhere else. He was phased out once Shanny left, but don't think for a second that he's worn down. He's better when he gets 20+ touches a game. I am not sure if he'll be the bell cow for the Cowboys, but if so, you got yourself a hell of a steal.

I hope that is true, I was just repeating what I heard on the radio this AM. I think Fish even said the same thing this morning. Again, I have no idea. I like the signing and don't care how players treat the media.

ALF gets it, understands he is blessed to get paid a lot to play a childs game. I watched him all four years here in D.C. I'm happy he is a Cowboy...He is coming to WORK.

I bet we dont read any stories years from now about how he blew all his money and is broke

I like Morris as a person, but he contributes almost nothing as a pass catcher. kinda hard to get excited about adding him with that in mind.

Thats great that he was nice. He gets no credit though, it just balances out the fact that he was a Commander.

But really, thats pretty cool.

I wonder about the whole pass-catcher thing... He's not a fumbler... His hands aren't rocks. He's had 47 NFL catches and had 30 in college... Not sure what the issue is or was there no issue and they just took him off the field on passing downs.

I like the signing, north-south runner, seems like a good fit, pair him with McFadden and try to find another Murray (except less injury prone) in the 3rd or 4th round. He also seems like a good guy. I also had no problem with McFadden last year, after taking over the full-time running back duties he had 7 games of 90+ yards in a 11 games and almost 1100 yards after starting the season splitting time with Randel.
