Has anyone reviewed the All-22 footage or does it even matter? Also can we share an account so that we can all analyze the film and pick out screenshots. I feel this would help us put footage to go with the arguments on here. Use facts instead of opinions.

goes live wednesday. I have rewatched the condensed version but there are downfield issues I could not see so i am going to wait to talk about what I saw.
I am interested in hearing about coverage. Where are the breakdowns occurring ?

Also, how did Crawford look? I wasn't paying close attention to him

Crawford didn't seem to play a lot. I will be methodical on Wednesday and double check but they platooned the DE in pairs. Selvie was always with Mincey. Crawford was always with Edwards. At least in the base. I don't think they took as many as 20 snaps. I will count later.

Selvie got a lot more opportunities and I noticed him do less but I only noticed Crawford make a play on the Durant almost interception. Beat single blocking with a setup and counter and got a hit. Was a nice play. I am looking for him to add to the repertoire. Felt that Selvie got shoved around a little bit in the run game which is unusual. He does have that bum wing. Crawford seemed fairly stout in holding the point. Much of the telecast had them on the far side of the formation when they were out there. Makes it hard to tell what he was doing with his hands and feet.

I will relook but most of the running SF did was on our tackles. Coleman got washed out by a double team for the TD right behind him. They targeted him earlier that drive as well. He did not play well that drive but he played a lot of snaps and was beating the LG into the backfield and being disruptive especially in the second half. His spin move is nice.

I actually saw Hayden stone a double team in short yardage which took me aback. I had to recheck to make sure it was him. He got shoved around a lot down in down out but he competed better than he had in the preseason.

Bishop seemed most consistent on running downs. He ate double teams like a pro and allowed McClain, Carter, Durant, and Church easy gaps to fill.

Melton had his cup of coffee in the second half and made a quick impression. He is quick and he is very good at twists. He went across the face of the center and attacked the opposite A gap, turned him almost ragdolling him and is about to break free from the caved line. Ball out quickly. Reminds me of Martin with his build. Really low cut. Squatty 6 foot whatever they are. But unbelievable quickness with that natural leverage.

I am also liking the early returns on the rotation system. Rotating is one thing but they seemed to clearly increase the intensity in the second half. If we ever get a lead then we could be in store for some good things in second halves for once. Think about adding Brent, McClain, Spencer, and Lawrence on top of that.

I'm going to be interested in seeing 3 things.
1) How the secondary specifically did in terms of were they just getting beat or was it poor scheme call
2) How did Dez try to fight through double teams when he was healthy - which he may never have been after taking that hit.
3) How did our DTs do in the run game. Was SF running around them or through them.

My concern about Tennesee is that Locker is also mobile so if it was scheme calls to prevent Kap from bailing out on us it may be the same again this weekend.

Of course all this film review doesn't mean a thing if #9 doesn't accept A) he is limited because of the back and needs to change his decision making or B) His back is fine and he needs to let it rip rather than waiting the extra 2 seconds which brings the whole defense back in the equation -

Glad to hear about Bishop, one of my pet cat defensive lineman draft day, along with Ethan Westbrooks, Caraun Reid and Cassius Marsh. I think both he and Coleman are keepers.

Carr and Mo played zone because of the running threat of Kap. Just like last year on their zone drops they just don't seem to drive on the ball or man fast enough. They can't quite anticipate the throws. I saw Rolando McLain drive on a ball in front of him on a third down play. Davis I believe caught the ball but Rolando tackled him short of the sticks. Those are the types of plays we need more of. Too many times Niner receivers caught the ball in front of our db's and was allowed to run to the sticks or caught the ball right at the sticks.

Hopefully next game we play more man. Locker can run but no where near as explosive as Kap.

Guess they're not as good as Ro.

Still no All 22 yet. The box is up but it is greyed out. Maybe later today or tomorrow AM, huh.

I thought for a 1st outing the defense did a decent job I also think this group will improve as we move forward and as you mention we will get other players back. One who may be back this next game as T. McClain

New member here. I just purchased the All-22. I have played college ball as well as coached some o-line for the local high school. I will be posting film review from the 49ers game as well as a scouting report on the Titans game possibly as early as today and definitely before the weekend. Look forward to getting to know all of you.
