I think we all tend to remember and place greater significance on plays late in the game...but truth is, plays early in the game are just as critical...

In fact, for a team looking to establish itself, taking control early, could be a huge factor.

That said, what an awful start by our veteran players.

Terry Glenn dropped what would have been a 25 yard gain, 1 minute into the game.

Keyshawn dropped the next pass...or more accurately, allowed the defender to knock the ball from his grip.

Larry Allen got beat and Julius got stuffed on a run play.

And then, Bledsoe overthrew his target resulting in an INT for a TD.

Talk about your bad starts...and ALL of it from veteran players.

Why is it always a huge play that breaks our backs and wins these games Jukie?

I think thats the toughest part out of all of our losses all year. We were in every game until something CRAZY happens and..................

GAME OVER

Couldn't agree more.

Outstanding post.

Veteran's execute on 4-5 situations and it's 28-14 game.

Hey bud...happy Thanksgiving...

I dunno...I think alot of it is about learning how to win...

But I still think we don't have any real impact players...we don't have that one stud, on either side of the ball, who steps up to make the big play when one is needed.

Big game...the veterans are there to make a statement..to show the young guys how it's done...at the beginning of this game, they failed..miserably.

Roy caused a huge fumble today, had a pretty big INT a couple of weeks ago, doesn't really get beat any longer.

I think we have some impact players, but we also lack some experience and a piece here and there.

2 word answer for that.

Young players.

When that pressure is ratcheted up they can freeze up.

OK...I'll give ya Roy...he's an impact player... the only problem is, it's a lot easier for an offense to take a safety out of a game...and we've seen that when Roy is forced into coverage.

Maybe Hos...but the vets made some pretty bad plays today...and often do...

Washington....we lost that game because of Glenn and to a lesser degree Roy...

Seattle...Bledsoe, Bledsoe, Bledsoe...

I think we probably have 3 or 4 potential game breakers on this team.....give them another year and they will introduce themselves.

Redemption was given to us even after we forced Denver to punt after an excellent series by the defense

And we get a 3rd and 1 screen pass

Now, if Bledsoe indeed called this play, I'll put the onus on him

If it was Payton..well..just another gem

I expect less from her

Dadgummit.....true. Maybe JJ ....jury still out.

I dunno if he has been coached to simply follow the play and not freelance...but he, at times, is running directly into traffic...

He doesn't seem to be a guy who can "create"...even last year...he did a GREAT job when the holes were there...and once he got to the second level...but he's not the kinda guy who can create when the blocking isn't great (not may RB's can)
