They have talent on this team, especially on Defense.
We have what I believe to be the best DC in the nfl, if he is not he is close.

Gilmore is no longer the Gilmore of old.
He is routinely a step, or more, behind any decent WR.
He might still have the heart and the intelligence but his body is not keeping up.
Simply put he is a liability.

As odd as it may seem. The Run Defense was not the issue tonight.
Prior to the game getting away in the third, the 49ers had just over 100 yards.
Now to be fair their passing game was working well enough they did not need to worry about it
but Don't want to hear about the running d being terrible for this games loss.

Two good games.
Two Crap games.
We are a .500 team. Reminds me of some previous HCs.

Mike Mcarthy needs to decide what he wants.
If he wants a ball control offense that takes long drives and TOP...that is fine but you
better call the right plays and you better hope the other teams not scoring. His ball control offense and the attacking D works great when Dalls is ahead. It is a disaster when Dallas gets behind because they don't throw i tlike they used to and if they try it will be INTs.
I said it right after 49s scored and Dallas was going back out. I said, the will try forcing the ball and get INTs. One player later the first INT happened...

This team is just not ready to beat the Eagles and/or 49ers whether that be in the regular season or the playoffs.

I think some of the coaches are good A few that need replaced and we need a fresh OC and offensive strategy. Find a way to be fresh. Find a way to score in the red zone.

Lot more I would like to post. However took my nightly pill so I am getting tired and loppy feeling.

Dallas ran into a buzzsaw tonight. Totally non-competitive. I pity the rest of the teams on the SF schedule. PHI is going to be in for a rude awakening next weekend.

Here is thing. Someone compared Garrett and Dak and got laughed at. The reality is they both beat bad teams in Sept and Oct and hung around way too long beacause of it. Winter comes and mediocre ability gets exposed over and over. Just happened a month early this year.

This team has plenty of hype, exposure, and noise. But when the lights shine brightest, they shrink.

Frankly, this team isn't ready to beat a lot of their upcoming opponents. This may not be a pretty season!

This was a game in which everything that could go wrong did go wrong, including injuries. We need a QB with mobility and accuracy. Our defense looked like they were completely lost, allowing receivers to get wide open...in double coverage. It was a snot fest. Depending on the severity of the injuries, we can say goodbye to the season.

Disappointed with trench play

I think with both Cooks and Gilmore, they are both still NFL players, but there's a reason both teams traded them, and why Dallas got them for day 3 picks. They just aren't what they were in their prime. And I think the FO thought that was good enough.

But, both right now aren't the biggest problems on this team.
The defense tonight couldn't get pressure or cover worth a damn.
The offense looked like a D-2 team vs the peak Alabama defense from a few years ago.
Just outclassed in all facets.

This FO each year does the bare minimum, ignoring the obvious holes or patching them up with duct tape thinking the same team that punched the hole last year won't do the same thing this year.

Dallas from the get go just seemed off. Defense gives up an easy drive for a TD and the offense comes out and lays turds on the field.
If that was 10 plays prescripted, then clearly they didn't study the 49ers defense.
